GAMMA is a Dutch Hardware store-chain. It started on May 11, 1971 in Breda. The headquarters of the franchise-organisation Intergamma is located in Leusden and as of 2011 it has 245 stores, of which 164 are located in the Netherlands and 81 in Belgium. Intergamma also owns the Hardware store-chain Karwei.

History

In 2008 GAMMA had a revenue of 606 million euro. [1]

GAMMA commercials have been broadcast in the Netherlands on radio and television since 1994, and have made the actors John Buijsman [2] [3] and Martin van Waardenberg [3] well known in the Netherlands. In Flanders Luk Wyns [4] is the face of the company.

Audax Groep is a Dutch print media and retail company, active also in Belgium. Its headquarters are located in Gilze. Audax was founded in 1958 by Jacques de Leeuw. Jacques de Leeuw led the company until 2017 when he was replaced by his son, Hubert de Leeuw. In 2019 he was replaced by Casper de Nooijer. In 2020, Hubert de Leeuw took over the lead again.

Erwin Mulder Dutch footballer

Erwin Mulder is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Dutch Eredivisie club SC Heerenveen. He is a former Netherlands U20's international and also received a call up to the senior Netherlands side in 2012.

Karwei is a Dutch Hardware store-chain. In 1991 Karwei Holland Nationaal B.V. became part of the franchise-organisation Intergamma, which headquarters is located in Leusden. As of 2019 Karwei has 136 stores, all of which are located in the Netherlands. Intergamma also owns the Home Improvement Centre chain Gamma. The first store opened at May 14, 1975 in Utrecht.

Intergamma is a Dutch franchise-organisation. It owns two hardware store-chains, namely Gamma and Karwei. Intergamma started on May 11, 1971 with a Gamma store in Breda. Its current CEO is Harm-Jan Stoter.

Formido (store)

Formido bouwmarkten B.V. was a Dutch Hardware store-chain. Formido opened its first store on 22 November 1976 in Waddinxveen. It was part of the franchise-organisation Maxeda, which headquarters is located in Amsterdam. As of 2011 Formido had 80 stores, all of which were located in the Netherlands. Of these stores, 15 were managed by Formido and 65 were franchised. Maxeda also owns the Hardware store-chain Praxis and Brico.

Hubo Netherlands

Hubo is a Dutch hardware store-chain. Hubo Netherlands and Hubo Belgium are two separate entities. Hubo is part of the franchise-organisation DGN Retail, which headquarters is located in Apeldoorn. DGN Retail also owns the Hardware store-chains Multimate Service Bouwmarkt, Fixet and Doeland. Hubo is the oldest Hardware store franchise in the Netherlands, starting its franchising business in 1969. As of 2011 Hubo has over 200 stores, all of which are located in the Netherlands, making it the largest Hardware store-chain in the Netherlands in number of stores.

Paul van Ass is a Dutch field hockey coach. After coaching for the Dutch club HGC, he became the coach of the national team, managing them at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the men's tournament. After his contract expired in 2014, he was declared the coach of the Indian team in 2015.

Fastned is a Dutch company that owns and operates a network of over 100 EV charging stations in the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Switzerland. A large majority of its stations are located at Dutch highway rest areas. Fastned was founded in 2012.

Lucille Martine Werner is a Dutch television presenter and politician. She is best known for hosting close to 2,000 episodes of the word game show Lingo in the years 2005–14.
