Ganesh Chandru Gaonkar is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Goa Legislative Assembly from Sanvordem in the 2022 Goa Legislative Assembly election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. [2] [3] [4] He is also elected as Protem Speaker of 8th Goa Legislative Assembly.

A member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he was elected as the MLA from Benaulim in the 2022 Goa Legislative Assembly election. Viegas was appointed as the legislative party leader of AAP in Goa Assembly in March 2022.
