Gangs Of North East is an Indian romantic Action thriller film directed by Rupak Gogoi under the banner of AM Television and TuneIn Infotainment. [1] The film stars Rewati Chetri, Fairypriya Ahmed, Vivek Bora, and Udayan Duwara [2] in lead roles. Also acting in supporting roles are Albert Mawrie, Manimala das, Pradhan Deuri, chiranjeeb Dutta, Robindra Rajkumar, Emsalon Jana Nongbet, Anna Taying and Florence Handique. [3]
The film is scripted by Avishka Phukan and directed by Rupak Gogoi. Besides Udayan Duarah, the film features several artistes and technicians, young independent spirits, hailing from Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland.
The film's music is scored by Zubeen Garg, Benjamin and Deepak Sarkar. The songs are being choreographed by Deepak Dey. The playback singing is being done by Zubeen Garg, Kabirruddin, Sapna Pathak, Anisha Lalu, Saint Dominic Kayer.
Zubeen Garg is an Indian singer, music director, composer, lyricist, music producer, actor, film director, film producer, script writer and philanthropist. He primarily works for and sings in the Assamese, Bengali and Hindi-language film and music industries, but has sung in many other languages and dialects, including Bishnupriya Manipuri, Boro, English, Goalpariya, Kannada, Karbi, Khasi, Malayalam, Marathi, Mising, Nepali, Odia, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Tiwa. He is also an instrumentalist and plays 12 instruments including Ananda Lohori, dhol, dotara, drums, guitar, harmonica, harmonium, mandolin, keyboard, tabla and various percussion instruments. He is Assam's highest-paid singer. In May 2022, Garg made a statement on recording of 32,000 songs successfully and will approach for Guinness World Records soon.
Assamese cinema, also known as Jollywood, is an Indian film industry of Assamese-language motion pictures. It is based in Assam, India. The industry was born in 1935 when Jyoti Prasad Agarwala released his movie Joymoti. Since then the Assamese cinema has developed a slow-paced, sensitive style, especially with the movies of Bhabendra Nath Saikia and Jahnu Barua. The industry is called Jollywood, named for Agarwala's Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio.
Urchagam is a 2007 Tamil romantic drama film directed by Ravichandran and starring Nandha and Sherin. The storyline is based on the problems and difficulties between a love marriage and arranged marriage. The movie was shot in Chennai, ECR, Puducherry, Goa, and Jothpur. About three songs were shot in Bangkok and its surroundings. Dinesh Lambha was introduced as the villain in this movie and Vivek also plays a prominent role in the movie.
