Garden City Public Schools is a public school district serving Garden City, Michigan and a small part of Livonia in the Metro Detroit area. [4]
Garden City High School was built in 1950. [5] In 1965, West High School was established [6] and the existing high school became East High. In the summer of 1982, West High School closed and became Garden City Middle School, [7] and all high school classes moved to the former East High building. [8]
