Garey Earl Mathurin (born 23 September 1983 in Mon Repos,Saint Lucia) is a cricketer who plays for the West Indies at international level and for the Windward Islands domestically.
He made his Twenty20 International debut for the West Indies on 25 September 2011 against England. He finished with bowling figures of 3/9 and was named as the player of the match. [1] He is just the third cricketer from Saint Lucia to represent the West Indies in international cricket after Johnson Charles (who made his debut just two days before Mathurin) and Darren Sammy,who was captain in Mathurin's first match. Jason Nazimuddin Mohammed is a Trinidadian cricketer. He plays first-class and List A cricket for Trinidad and Tobago. and internationally played for West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket.

Johnson Charles is a St Lucian international cricketer who plays for the West Indies. As a wicket-keeper-batsman,Charles started his ODI career against Australia in March 2012. His first T20I came against England in September 2011,and he became just the second cricketer from the island of St Lucia to play for the West Indies. Johnson was included in the West Indies' 15-man squad for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 held in September and October that year,where the team won the tournament. Charles was also a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup.
The Saint Lucia national cricket team represents the country of Saint Lucia in cricket. The team is a member of the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control,which itself is a member association of the West Indies Cricket Board. Players from St Lucia generally represent the Windward Islands cricket team at domestic level and the West Indies at international level. The England cricket team toured the West Indies between January and March 2019 to play three Tests,five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The series included England's first Test match in Saint Lucia,when they played at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground. It was also England's first tour to the West Indies to play all three formats of international cricket since they visited in 2009. The ODI fixtures were part of both teams' preparation for the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
The Afghanistan cricket team played the West Indies cricket team in India in November and December 2019 to play one Test,three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. It was the first Test match that Afghanistan played against the West Indies. The two teams had played each other ten times before,with the majority of matches in the Caribbean,with this being Afghanistan's fourth Test match. All the matches were played at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
