Garth Weiser (born 1979) is an artist based in New York City.
Weiser was born in Montana. He makes paintings which mix stark geometric patterns with textured paint surfaces. [1] His work is a mixture of figurative and abstract imagery and references art and design from the 1980s and 1990s. [2]
Weiser received his MFA from Columbia University School of the Arts in 2005, after receiving his BFA from Cooper Union. He is currently married to artist Francesca DiMattio.

Kenny Scharf is an American painter known for his participation in New York City's interdisciplinary East Village art scene during the 1980s, alongside Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, Scharf's do-it-yourself practice spanned painting, sculpture, fashion, video, performance art, and street art. Growing up in post-World War II Southern California, Scharf was fascinated by television and the futuristic promise of modern design. His works often includes pop culture icons, such as the Flintstones and the Jetsons, or caricatures of middle-class Americans in an apocalyptic science fiction setting.
Louise Lawler is a U.S. artist and photographer living in Brooklyn, New York. From the late 1970s onwards, Lawler’s work has focused on photographing portraits of other artists’ work, giving special attention to the spaces in which they are placed and methods used to make them. Examples of Lawler's photographs include images of paintings hanging on the walls of a museum, paintings on the walls of an art collector's opulent home, artwork in the process of being installed in a gallery, and sculpture in a gallery being viewed by spectators.

In 2006, the Kantor Feuer Gallery, known for discovering new talent and developing the careers of artists, and ranked as one of the top galleries in the world, held an exhibition of Lokiec's work. His works are also exhibited in the now British government-owned Saatchi Gallery. Lokiec did the cover design for Rich Bowering's 2011 book Big Fire at Spahn Ranch.

Balcomb Greene (1904–1990) was an American artist and teacher. He and his wife, artist Gertrude Glass Greene, were heavily involved in political activism to promote mainstream acceptance of abstract art and were founding members of the American Abstract Artists organization. His early style was completely non-objective. Juan Gris and Piet Mondrian as well as Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse influenced his early style. From the 1940s his work "opened out to the light and space of natural form." He painted landscapes and figure. "He discerned the pain of a man, and hewed to it integrally from beginning to end…. In his study of the figure he did not stress anatomical shape but rather its intuitive, often conflicting spirit."

Annika Ström is a Swedish artist, living and working in London, United Kingdom. Ström works mainly with performance art, text, films and sound. Her work addresses subjective states of crisis and insecurity in songs, videos and text pieces displaying self-reflective phrases like "Excuse me I am sorry, Everything in this show can be used against me, I am a better artist than I deserve". In her films Ström draws upon details of everyday life and seemingly insignificant experiences usually accompanied by her own low-fi synth-pop soundtracks. She often works with members of her family. Her films explore the subjects of failure, loss and disappearance. Ström's text works consist of phrases, normally no more than a few words, transcribed onto sheets of paper or, onto a wall. Her videos, songs and text works are structured around the poetic transfiguration of the ordinary. Her work has been featured in many international exhibitions such as Palais de Tokyo, Whitsable Biennale.
