Pasta was traditionally only made with durum, although the definition has been expanded to include alternatives for a gluten-free diet, such as rice flour, or legumes such as beans or lentils. Pasta is believed to have developed independently in Italy and is a staple food of Italian cuisine, with evidence of Etruscans making pasta as early as 400 BCE in Italy.

Rigatoni are a type of pasta. They are larger than penne and ziti, and sometimes slightly curved, but not as curved as elbow macaroni. Rigatoni are characterized by ridges along their length, sometimes spiraling around the tube; unlike penne, the ends of rigatoni are cut perpendicular to the tube walls instead of diagonally.

She began her career at Clube Ferroviário de Luanda in the 1980s and in 1996 moved to Petro Atlético. She joined the Angolan handball squad in 1980, making her international debut at the world cup in South Korea in 1990. She has since played three more world cups. In February 2000, at the age of 39, she announced her retirement and her desire to pursue a coaching career. She later reconsidered and played for two more seasons with the newly formed club ENANA.
Ana Beatriz Moser is a Brazilian former volleyball player and three-time Olympian. She helped make the Brazilian women's national volleyball team a dominant force in the 1990s. She was an outside hitter.
