Gatlin Kate James (born July 7, 1997), formerly known as Gatlin Green, [1] is an American actress and singer-songwriter.

Early life

James was born in Nashville, Tennessee. [2] She has one older brother and three younger adopted siblings. [3] She was homeschooled. [4]

Career

Acting

James began acting at age 4. [2] In 2012 she was a co–star in the web–based interactive movie Finding Cody. [5] In 2015 she had roles in episodes of Criminal Minds and Liv and Maddie before being cast as a main character in the Heroes Reborn miniseries. [6] She appears in a promotional video, Open Your Heart, for the American Heart Association. [7] She appeared in the 2017 independent film Flock of Four. [8]

Music

With her older brother they formed "Cooper and Gatlin" (also styled as Cooper & Gatlin), an acoustic folk–pop duo. [3]

Personal life

In 2017, she married actor Austin James, and took the name Gatlin Kate James. [9] They have since started a YouTube channel called "Gatlin and Austin James" where they vlog their daily lives and upload videos every Sunday as a part of their "Week in Review" series. [10]
