Gaurav Khanna (born 11 December 1981) [1] is an Indian actor who works in hindi television. He is best known for his roles as Senior Inspector Kavin in CID and Anuj Kapadia in Anupamaa , the latter earning him the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor. Khanna has appeared in several successful television series, including Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam , Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta , and Celebrity MasterChef India , where he emerged as the winner. As of 2025, he is participating as a contestant on Bigg Boss 19 . [2] [3] [4]

Career

Khanna worked as a marketing manager in an IT firm for nearly a year before switching careers. He started his career appearing in television commercials. [5] [6]

Personal life

In early 2016, Khanna was revealed to be dating television actress Akanksha Chamola. [7] [8] The couple was married on 24 November 2016 in Khanna's hometown of Kanpur. [9] [10] [11] In 2025, he revealed his colour-blindness on Celebrity MasterChef. He was also the only vegetarian contestant in the show. [12]
