Comedy Classes is an Indian comedy show on channel Life OK. [1] Produced by Optimystix Entertainment, its starting date was 7 October 2014. The show is set in the Ache Din Institute an acting school run by Selfie Mausi and her brother Naseer. [2]

Seasons

Initially a sitcom, the show converted into a spoofs-based show. It starred Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Bharti Singh, Madhura Naik, Shakeel Siddiqui, Mubeen Saudagar, Siddharth Sagar, Subuhi Joshi, Bruna Abdullah, and Shraman Jain in the first season.

The second season started on 12 May 2015. Siddharth Sagar as 'Selfie Mausi' hosted skits performed by various comedians. The cast included Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Siddharth Sagar, Mubeen Saudagar, Shakeel Siddiqui, Bruna Abdullah, and Subuhi Joshi.

The third season Comedy Classes added Archana Puran Singh as judge named 'Maafia Mausi'. Show was made more interactive with live audience. The cast members were Siddharth Sagar, Mubeen Saudagar, Siddharth Jadhav, Sugandha Mishra, Rauf Lala, Shakeel Siddiqui, Subuhi Joshi, Sayantani Ghosh, Arti Singh, Purbi Joshi, and Balraj.

In the fourth season, the show was made biweekly. [3] The show format was changed into making spoofs of Bollywood blockbuster movies enacted by its Cast Siddharth Sagar, Mubeen Saudagar, Gaurav Khanna, Siddharth Jadhav, Purbi Joshi, Balraj and Arti Singh, and Shakeel Siddiqui.

The fifth season Comedy Classes Evolution. The cast members were Siddharth Sagar, Mubeen Saudagar, Siddharth Jadhav, Sugandha Mishra, Sanket Bhosale, Sudesh Lehri, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Sunil Grover, Upasana Singh, Shakeel Siddiqui, Ali Asgar, Sumona Chakravarti, Kapil Sharma and Balraj.

<i>Comedy Nights with Kapil</i> Indian TV comedy show (2013–2016)

Comedy Nights With Kapil is an Indian Hindi-language sketch comedy and celebrity talk show hosted and produced by comedian Kapil Sharma. It was on-air on Colors TV amid 22 June 2013 to 24 January 2016. Many of the episodes feature celebrity guests who usually appear to promote their latest films in a comedy-focused talk show format. On 25 September 2013, a fire broke out on the sets of the show at Film City in Goregaon causing the entire set to collapse and an estimated loss of 20 Crores. Following the fire, two episodes were shot on sets of Bigg Boss in Lonavla. In September 2013, the show became India's highest rated scripted TV show. At the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year awards, Sharma was awarded the Entertainer of the Year award for 2013.

Dolly Ki Doli is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film, directed by debutant Abhishek Dogra and produced by actor Arbaaz Khan under his production house Arbaaz Khan Productions. The film stars Sonam Kapoor in the title role and also features Pulkit Samrat, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. The film was released on 23 January 2015. The trailer for the film was released in December 2014, on the anniversary of Malaika and Arbaaz. It is a remake of the 2013 Punjabi film R.S.V.P. - Ronde Saare Vyah Picho.

<i>Indias Raw Star</i> Indian singing competition series

India's Raw Star is an Indian singing competition series created by Gajendra Singh of Saibaba Telefilms which began airing on Star Plus from 24 August 2014. It was hosted by model-actress and Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan and mentored by singer-rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. Rituraj Mohanty won the first season on 30 November 2014 with Darshan Raval and Mohit Gaur finishing second and third respectively. The other contestants were Sagar Bhatia, Akasa Singh, pardeep singh sran etc. Mohan Rathore, winner of a Bhojpuri singing competition 'Sur Sangram' was also one of the contestants. Comedy Nights Bachao is an Indian Hindi-language comedy television series which premiered on 5 September 2015. The series used to air on Sunday nights on Colors TV. The series was a reality show with a format similar to Comedy Circus. It had many of the same production team members and was produced by Optimystix Entertainment. The presenters of this show were Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Bharti Singh Mubeen and Mona Singh.
