Gavin Grahovac (born January 2,2005) is an American college baseball outfielder and third baseman for the Texas A&M Aggies.
Grahovac grew up in Orange,California and attended Villa Park High School. [1] He was named the Orange County Baseball Player of the Year after batting .376 with 17 doubles,three triples,five home runs,and 24 RBIs as a junior. [2] Grahovac batted .350 with nine doubles,five home runs,and 19 RBIs during his senior season. [3] He was considered a top-200 prospect in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft,but he opted to withdraw from the draft and attend Texas A&M. [4]
Grahovac was a starter at both third base and as an outfielder during his freshman season with the Texas A&M Aggies. [5] He finished the season with a school freshman record 23 home runs and 66 RBIs and was named the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Freshman of the Year. [6] Following the departure of Texas A&M head coach Jim Schlossnagle,Grahovac entered the NCAA transfer portal,but ultimately opted to return to Texas A&M for his sophomore season. [7] [8]
The Texas A&M Aggie baseball team represents Texas A&M University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The Aggies have competed in the Southeastern Conference since 2013. The Aggies play home games at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The team was the 2024 runner-up in the Men's College World Series Final,losing in a closely contested three-game series to Tennessee.
