Genesis is the debut album by American trumpeter Charles Sullivan recorded in 1974 and released on the Strata-East label. [1]
The Allmusic review by Michael G. Nastos awarded the album 5 stating "it's well deserving of this accolade as one of the very best post-bop efforts of its decade". [2] The Rolling Stone Jazz Record Guide said "Every track is a winner with Charles Sullivan proving himself an outstanding composer and small-group arranger". [3]

True Blue is a jazz album by saxophonist Dexter Gordon and saxophonist Al Cohn, recorded in 1976 for Xanadu Records.
The 5th Power is a live album by Lester Bowie recorded for the Italian Black Saint label and released in 1978. It was recorded during a concert tour of Europe by Bowie's group "From the Roots to the Source" and features performances by Bowie, Arthur Blythe, Amina Claudine Myers, Malachi Favors and Phillip Wilson.

Whilst the 1965 tracks were released on a limited edition CD in 2002, those from 1966 have never been released singularly; however, they can be found on the four-disc Mosaic compilation The Complete Blue Note 1964-66 Jackie McLean Sessions, which was limited to 5,000 copies.
