Gennadiy Laliyev (born March 30, 1979) is a Kazakhstani wrestler who competed in the Men's Freestyle 74 kg at the 2004 Summer Olympics representing Kazakhstan and won the silver medal. [1] [2] He also competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in the Men's Freestyle 84 kg, placing 13th. [3] He has been a scholarship holder with the Olympic Solidarity program since November 2002.
The Soviet Union (USSR) competed, for the last time before its dissolution, at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. 481 competitors, 319 men and 162 women, took part in 221 events in 27 sports. Athletes from 12 of the ex-Soviet republics would compete as the Unified Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics, and each nation would field independent teams in subsequent Games.
The Unified Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, was a joint team consisting of twelve of the fifteen former Soviet republics that chose to compete together; the states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania competed separately. The team has been informally called the Commonwealth of Independent States team, though Georgia was not yet a member of the CIS when it competed as part of the Unified Team. Selected athletes from the Baltic states also competed on the Unified Team. It competed under the IOC country code EUN. A total of 475 competitors, 310 men and 165 women, took part in 234 events in 27 sports.
Masoud Mostafa Jokar is an Iranian wrestler who competed in the Men's Freestyle 60 kg at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the silver medal. Masoud was born in an athletic family and after his good demonstration in Takhti Cup Tehran, 1999, he was invited to the camp of national teams for Olympic preparation. He was the spare of Mohammad Talaei, Iranian wrestler in 63 kg. However he became a fixed member of the team in next Olympic where he won his silver medal.
Mavlet Alavdinovich Batirov is a Russian freestyle wrestler, world and two-time Olympic champion, who competed in the men's freestyle 55 kg category at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal.
Zevegiin Oidov is a retired Mongolian wrestler. At the 1976 Summer Olympics he won the silver medal in the freestyle 62 kg class. He also won two world champion titles, in 1974 and 1975 in the 62 kg class. In 1977 competing in the freestyle 68 kg class he came in second, taking the Bronze medal.

After that, Albania boycotted the next four games for political reasons, as part of the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott, 1984 Summer Olympics boycott and the isolationist stance of Albania at the time. They returned for the Barcelona 1992 Summer Olympics and have appeared in all games since then. Albania made their Winter Olympic Games debut in 2006. Albania normally competes in events that include swimming, athletics, weightlifting, shooting, and wrestling. They have been represented by the Albanian National Olympic Committee since 1972.
Nikita Konstantinovich Lobintsev is a Russian freestyle swimmer, who won the silver medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics. At that Olympics, he also competed in the 400 m freestyle, finishing in 8th, and the 1500 m freestyle, finishing in 31st.

Dilshod Mansurov is a male freestyle wrestler from Uzbekistan. He participated in Men's freestyle 55 kg at 2008 Summer Olympics. He earned 4th place after losing the bronze medal fight with Besik Kudukhov.
Ivan Fundora Zaldivar is a former Cuban freestyle wrestler, who was an Olympian in 2004 and 2008. He won the bronze medal in the Men's freestyle 74kg at the 2004 Summer Olympics. and finished in 5th place in Men's freestyle 74 kg at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Jabrayil Hasanov is a male freestyle wrestler from Azerbaijan who has competed in the 66, 74 and 79 kg categories. He is an Olympic bronze medalist and multiple World Championships medalist. He is the winner of Yasar Dogu Grand-Prix.
Egypt competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, from 27 July to 12 August 2012, sending one of its largest delegations ever. A total of 110 Egyptian athletes participated in 83 events across 20 sports, with more women taking part than ever before. The nation's flagbearer in the opening ceremonies was Hesham Mesbah, a judoka who was Egypt's only medalist at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Egypt won two medals during the course of the Games: Alaaeldin Abouelkassem earned silver in the men's foil, becoming the first competitor from an African nation to win a fencing medal, while Karam Gaber captured silver in the men's 84 kg Greco-Roman wrestling event. Two Egyptian weightlifters were awarded medals retroactively, after higher-ranked competitors were disqualified for doping: Abeer Abdelrahman took silver in the women's 75 kg event, while Tarek Yehia, received bronze in the men's 85 kg event. Among other achievements, Mostafa Mansour was the nation's first competitor in sprint canoeing while fencer Shaimaa El-Gammal became the first Egyptian female to appear in four editions of the Olympics.
Eric Kibanza Lundoloki is a DR Congolese judoka, who played for the lightweight category. Kibanza represented the Democratic Republic of the Congo at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's 73 kg class. He lost the first preliminary match to Tajikistan's Rasul Boqiev, who scored a waza-ari awasete ippon at about four minutes. Because Boqiev advanced further into the semi-finals, Kibanza offered another chance for a bronze medal by entering the repechage rounds. He was eventually beaten with a yuko by Ukraine's Gennadiy Bilodid in the first round.
Luis Felipe Vivénes Urbanesa is an amateur Venezuelan freestyle wrestler, who played for the men's heavyweight category. He won two medals each for his division at the Pan American Games, and at the Central American and Caribbean Games.
Hakan Koç is an amateur Turkish freestyle wrestler competing in the heavyweight division. He studied at Selçuk University.
Chagnaadorjiin Ganzorig is an amateur Mongolian freestyle wrestler, who played for the men's light heavyweight category. Between 2006 and 2008, Ganzorig had won a total of three medals for the 84 kg class at the Asian Wrestling Championships.
Zurabi Iakobishvili is a Georgian freestyle wrestler. He is a World Championships gold and three-time bronze medallist, and European Championships gold and two-time bronze medallist. Iakobishvili won the gold medal in the freestyle 65 kg event at the 2017 World Championships and the freestyle 70 kg event at the 2022 European Championships.
