Gentlemans Pistols are a British rock band based in Leeds, England, formed in 2003.
Gentlemans Pistols were formed in 2003 as a three-piece by singer/guitarist James Atkinson (formerly of UK hardcore group Voorhees), bassist Douglas McLaughlan and drummer Simon Mawson, although this line-up played only one gig before the replacement of Simon Mawson by Adam Clarke in 2004. The line-up was further augmented at this time by the addition of guitarist Chris Rogers, and has remained a four-piece ever since.
They recorded a 7" single "Just A Fraction" in 2006 for the Art Goes Pop label, which was followed by a further 7" "The Lady" for Rise Above Records later that same year. This was followed by their self-titled debut album in August 2007, also on Rise Above Records. The disc was distributed in Japan via Leaf Hound Records, containing the bonus track "Comatose".
Shortly before the release of the debut album, drummer Adam Clarke announced his departure from the group. He was replaced by Stuart Dobbins, formerly of Leeds zombiecore group Send More Paramedics. In June 2009 guitarist Chris Rogers announced his departure from the band. He then was replaced by Bill Steer of Carcass and Firebird fame. This line-up recorded their 2011 album, At Her Majesty's Pleasure.
Martyn Roper was announced as the band's new bassist in April 2013, ahead of their performance at the Berlin date of the DesertFest festival. [1]
Cracker is an American rock band formed in 1990 by lead singer David Lowery and guitarist Johnny Hickman. The band's first album Cracker was released in 1992 on Virgin Records; it included the single "Teen Angst ", which went to #1 on the U.S. Modern Rock chart. The band's follow-up, the 1993 album Kerosene Hat included the hit songs "Low", "Get Off This", and "Euro-Trash Girl".
Skid Row were an Irish blues rock band of the late 1960s and early 1970s, based in Dublin and fronted by bass guitarist Brendan "Brush" Shiels. It was the first band in which Phil Lynott and Gary Moore played professionally before finding greater fame with Thin Lizzy.
Dance Hall Crashers was an American ska punk band formed in 1989 in Berkeley, California. Initially founded by former Operation Ivy members Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman, the band has had a fluid lineup over its career, with the most recent lineup includes Elyse Rogers and Karina Deniké on vocals, brothers Jason Hammon and Gavin Hammon on guitar and drums respectively, and Mikey Weiss on bass. They have released four studio albums, highlighted by the 1995 release Lockjaw which featured the minor hit song "Enough", produced by Rob Cavallo and featured in the film Angus.

Blue Orchids are an English post-punk band formed in Manchester in 1979, when Martin Bramah left the Fall, after playing on the band's debut album Live at the Witch Trials. Christened by Salford-based punk poet John Cooper Clarke the band recorded for Rough Trade and acted as backing band for the Velvet Underground's Nico before a 25-year period of intermittent activity and fluctuating line-ups.
Head East is an American rock band from Illinois. The band was formed by singer John Schlitt, guitarist Danny Piper, keyboardist Roger Boyd, bassist Larry Boyd, and drummer Steve Huston. They met and formed the band while John, Roger, and Larry were studying at the University of Illinois, Steve was at Eastern Illinois University 45 miles away and Danny was not in college. As of 2024, Roger Boyd is the only remaining original member: Piper left in 1972; Larry Boyd left in 1974; Schlitt took a break for part of 1973–74 before leaving in 1980; and Huston took a break for part of 1973–74 before leaving in 1983. Mike Somerville (guitar) and Dan Birney (bass) replaced Piper and Larry Boyd during the band's 1970s heyday, while the entire lineup has gone through numerous changes since the 1980s.

The original LP had ten tracks compiled from their album, EP and single releases in the period from 1983 to 1985, during which time the group were resident in Perth, Sydney and London. Three additional tracks from the same sources were included on the later CD version of the album.
