Price was named to the Big XII All-Region Super Team as punter. His junior year, he averaged 45.6 yards per punt, which dropped to 39.5 yards per punt his senior year because of an ankle injury. [3] [4] For the 2006 season, Price had an average of 48 yards per punt, including a career-long 62-yard kick. He was named a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award in 2006. [5]
