George Nenyi Kojo Andah (born 27 April 1970) is a Ghanaian politician and the former Member of Parliament of the Awutu Senya West Constituency in the Central Region of Ghana. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and the Deputy Minister for communications in Ghana. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
In June 2021,he was installed as the Akyempim Odefey (Chief) of the Senya Beraku Traditional Area and goes by the stool name,Nenyi Kobena Andakwei VI. [7]
George was born on 27 April 1970 and hails from Senya Beraku in the Central Region of Ghana. [8] He had his secondary education at Achimota School and proceeded to KNUST where he studied for a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. George also holds an MBA degree in marketing from the University of Ghana Business School. [9] [10]
George has worked for several reputable companies;from being the marketing director of Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd to being the Chief Marketing Officer for Scancom Limited. [11] He was a member of the MTN Group to being the Chief Marketing Officer of Bharti Airtel Nigeria,a member of the Bharti Group to Chief Operating Officer (Country Manager) of Glo Mobile Ghana to the Regional Director,Marketing Promotions,Globacom (Nigeria,Ghana and Benin). He then went on to establish his own company called,RUDDER Solutions,a Ghanaian-based market-development management consultancy service that provides a comprehensive set of integrated professional services for business / market development,corporate / brand communication,reputation management,direct sales,channel development and leadership coaching. He also worked at the Accra main branch of SG-SSB from March 2001 to April 2002. [8] He is also the Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya West Constituency in the 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic and the Deputy Minister for Communications. [12]
George is a founding member of Occupy Ghana a political pressure group. He was also the New Patriotic Party parliamentarian for Awutu-Senya West constituency. [18]
In June,2020 he was elected by the delegates of the NPP to represent Awutu-Senya West Constituency in the 2020 Ghanaian general election as their parliamentary candidate. [19] He lost his parliamentary seat to Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui of the National Democratic Congress. [6] He is a former Deputy Minister for Communications. [20] [21]
In April 2022,he launched his book called 'Determined to do more'. [22]
George is married with four children and lives in Accra with his family. He is a Christian. [8]
In April 2019,George presented about 12 executive chairs to the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Ghana Business School. [23]
Yaw Osafo-Maafo is a Ghanaian politician who was appointed in April as the senior presidential advisor to the Akufo-Addo Administration 2021. He was Senior Minister of the Republic of Ghana in the Akufo-Addo Administration from 2017 to 2021. Hanna Serwaa Tetteh is a Ghanaian barrister and politician. She served in the cabinet of Ghana as Minister for Trade and Industry from 2009 to 2013 and Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2013 to 2017. She was also the Member of Parliament for the Awutu-Senya West constituency. She currently serves as the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa.
Martin Alamisi Burnes Kaiser Amidu is a Ghanaian politician and lawyer who served as Attorney General and Minister for Justice in Ghana from 2011 to 2012 and then as the First Special Prosecutor of the country from 2018 until his resignation in 2020,citing political interference by the President,Nana Akufo-Addo. He is also known for introducing the word ‘gargantuan‘,into the body politics of Ghana,when he opened investigations in the Woyome scandal which was one of the highest profiled corruption cases at the time. On 11 January 2018,Martin A.B.K Amidu was named by the President of Ghana as the Special Prosecutor for the newly created Office of the Special Prosecutor. Nana Akufo-Addo touted his anti-corruption fights as Attorney General and a private citizen as reasons for choosing Mr. Amidu,his one-time political adversary.

Owusu Afriyie Akoto is a Ghanaian agricultural economist and politician. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and was a Member of Parliament for the Kwadaso Constituency from 2009 to 2017. He was the cabinet minister in the Nana Akufo-Addo administration and served as Minister of Food and Agriculture of Ghana. He resigned on 10 January 2023 to focus on his presidential ambition. He holds MSc and PHD Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Cambridge,England.

Samuel Abu Jinapor,is a Ghanaian lawyer and a politician. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and the Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency. In 2017,President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo appointed him as Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations at the Office of the President,at the age of 33,the youngest in the history of Ghana to occupy such a position. He is currently the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and assumed position as caretaker Minister of Trade and Industry on 16th January,2023.
The Oti Region is one of the six newly created regions of Ghana in December 2018. The region was carved out of the northern part of the Volta Region and will be in fulfillment of a campaign promise made by New Patriotic Party. Prior to the 2016 Ghanaian general election,the then candidate Nana Akufo-Addo declared that when elected,he would explore the possibility of creating new regions out of some of the existing regions in Ghana in order to bring government closer to citizens. The Region was inaugurated on May 14,2019. It has Dambai as its Regional Capital. The people of Oti region have for more than 60 years always wanted to have a region of their own before its creation in 2018 by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government in December 2018.

He was approved as a cabinet minister at an age of thirty-five making him the youngest cabinet member of the Second Republic.
