George Mason (d 1996) was a rugby league footballer, and later coach, for the Canterbury-Bankstown club.

Career

Mason played three seasons for Western Suburbs between 1927 and 1929.

His final year as a player was 1936 at the newly admitted Canterbury-Bankstown side playing in 12 matches.

Mason coached Canterbury-Bankstown for 1 season in 1937.

He is recognised as Canterbury's 41st ever player and their third ever coach. George Henry Mason died on 5 February 1996. [2]

An Australian Kangaroos and New South Wales Blues representative winger, he featured in Canterbury-Bankstown's third grand final win and captained Halifax to both League and Cup success.

Andrew Farrar is an Australian former rugby league footballer and coach. He played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Western Suburbs, Wigan and the Illawarra Steelers. The history of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs stretches from the 1930s to the present day. Based in Belmore, a suburb of Sydney, the Bulldogs in 1935 were admitted to the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSWRFL) competition, a predecessor of the current NRL competition.

Phil Sigsworth, is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. He played primarily in the fullback position. Sigsworth attended Newtown Boys' Junior High School where he played Rugby Union for the school. His junior Rugby League playing days were with the Erskineville Juniors club and then the infamous Newtown Hawks from where he was graded into the district club, Newtown District Rugby League Football Club.

David Boyd is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs from 1986 to 1987, he was part of the inaugural Newcastle Knights squad from 1988 to 1993 and then finished his career at the Western Reds from 1995 to 1996.

Alan Mason (1934-2014) was an Australian professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. He played for Balmain and Canterbury-Bankstown in the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition. Mason later coached the club in the 1970s.
