Richard Marvin Hansen is a Canadian track and field athlete,activist,and philanthropist for people with disabilities. Following a pickup truck crash at the age of 15,Hansen sustained a spinal cord injury and became a paraplegic. Hansen is most famous for his Man in Motion World Tour,in which he circled the globe in a wheelchair to raise funds for charity. He was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 2006. He was one of the final torchbearers in the 1988 Winter Olympics and the 2010 Winter Olympics. He was profiled and spoke during the 2010 Winter Paralympics opening ceremony.
Frank Iacobucci is a former Puisne Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada from 1991 until his retirement from the bench in 2004. He was the first Italian-Canadian,allophone judge on the court. Iacobucci was also the first judge on the Supreme Court to have been born,raised and educated in British Columbia. Iacobucci has had a distinguished career in private practice,academia,the civil service and the judiciary.
Sheila Watt-Cloutier is a Canadian Inuk activist. She has been a political representative for Inuit at the regional,national and international levels,most recently as International Chair for the Inuit Circumpolar Council. Watt-Cloutier has worked on a range of social and environmental issues affecting Inuit,most recently,persistent organic pollutants and global warming. She has received numerous awards and honours for her work,and has been featured in a number of documentaries and profiled by journalists from all media. Watt-Cloutier sits as an adviser to Canada's Ecofiscal Commission. She is also a senior fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation.

The same year they were awarded the Lou Marsh Trophy. Jackson also competed at the 1968 Olympics and finished eleventh in the single sculls event. At the 1972 Olympics he was a crew member of the Canadian boat which finished twelfth in the coxed fours competition.

Beginning in 2000 she also served as the Chair of the now dissolved Water Resources Advisory Committee of Suez,a multinational private water company.
Robert George Hindmarch was a Canadian educator,sports administrator and ice hockey coach. He was a multi-sport athlete at the University of British Columbia (UBC) as a student,and returned as a professor and its director of physical education. He and Father David Bauer established a permanent Canada men's national ice hockey team based at UBC in preparation for ice hockey at the 1964 Winter Olympics. Hindmarch later coached the UBC Thunderbirds men's ice hockey team for 214 wins in 12 seasons;they became one of the first Western Bloc sports teams to play a tour of games in China. He developed additional international sporting relationships for the Thunderbirds in South Korea and Japan,and served as vice-president of the Canadian Olympic Association for 16 years. Hindmarch was made a member of the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia;and is inducted into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame and the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
Brent Ladds is a Canadian ice hockey administrator. He has served as president of the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) since 2016,and was previously president of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) from 1980 to 2012,commissioner of Allan Cup Hockey from 2013 to 2016,and chairman of the Hockey Canada junior hockey council from 2014 to 2016. As president,he has marketed the CJHL as a development program for players seeking a professional career or an education,with exposure to National Hockey League talent scouts at the annual CJHL Prospects Game and World Junior A Challenge. He also sought to increase marketing opportunities,have consistent administrative practices,and to co-ordinate public relations across the CJHL. His tenure as president also saw the withdrawal of the British Columbia Hockey League,and subsequent format change of the Centennial Cup tournament to include all nine league champions.
