Gerard "Ger" Mahon (born 1986) is an Irish hurler who played as a left wing-back for the Galway senior team. [1]

Mahon joined the team during the 2005 championship and was a regular member of the team for six seasons. An All-Ireland medalist in the minor and under-21 grades, he enjoyed little success at senior level.[ citation needed ]

At club level Mahon plays with the Kinvara club.

The 1962 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final was the 75th All-Ireland Final and the deciding match of the 1962 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, an inter-county Gaelic football tournament for the top teams in Ireland.

Old Christians GAA was formed in Limerick, Ireland in 1962 for the development of the games of Hurling and Gaelic Football in the southern part of the city. Since then the club has gone on to develop many league and championship winning teams at all level and has contributed to the county with many noteworthy players including Bernie Hartigan who won an All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship with Limerick in 1973. Ger Hegarty also won a Munster title and a National Hurling League medal in the mid-1990s.
