Gerard John Denton (born 7 August 1975) is an Australian former first-class cricketer who played for Tasmania. The right-arm fast-medium bowler began his first-class cricket for Tasmania, despite having been born in Queensland. He switched to the Victoria for two seasons (2005/06 and 06/07), before returning to Tasmania for the 2007/08 season.
Denton has had a career hampered by injuries. When fit he can be destructive, as shown by when he dismissed Stuart Law, Allan Border and Jimmy Maher in the space of six deliveries on debut in the 1994-95 summer. He took a couple of years off before returning in 1998-99 for Tasmania and earning Australia A selection. Stress fractures would set him back both in 1999-2000 and 2000-01. He recovered and reappeared in 2001-02 and after a couple of decent seasons he was back to his best in 2003-04, taking 30 wickets at 33.13. He moved to Victoria the following summer but did not get much game time due to hip and foot injuries. His only appearance for the Bushrangers was an ING Cup game. In 2005-06 he made the headlines by breaking one of Justin Langer's ribs which cost the opener a Test place. It would be another painful season for Denton as he suffered from appendicitis late in the summer which meant that he could not line up in the Pura Cup final. He still finished Victoria's leading wicket taker with 33 at 28.15 from his eight matches.

Cameron Leon White is an Australian cricketer and former Australian Twenty20 and Victorian Bushrangers captain. A powerful middle order batsman and right-arm leg-spin bowler, White made his first-class cricket debut as a teenager in the 2000–01 season for the Victorian Bushrangers as a bowling all-rounder. Early comparisons with Victoria teammate Shane Warne faded as White took on a role closer to that of Andrew Symonds, a batsman who bowled occasionally, and bats aggressively with flat sixes around his leg side.

Damien Geoffrey Wright is a former Australian first-class cricketer, and former coach of the Hobart Hurricanes cricket team. Wright made his debut for Tasmania in 1997, playing with the team until switching to Victoria for the 2008–09 season. In 2002 he played in the Scottish cricket team as their one permitted overseas player—he also had previous spells in county cricket with Northamptonshire, Glamorgan and Somerset. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler. He has a side-on bowling action and an ability to bounce the ball sharply. Wright started Coaching the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League 03 in 2013-14, he coached the team to defeat the Melbourne Stars, who were undefeated in the tournament until then. The Hurricanes then lost the final to the Perth Scorchers. Wright then coached the Hurricanes to the semi-finals in the Champions League T20 2014 in India.
Beau Casson is a former Australian cricketer who played for Western Australia and New South Wales from 2002 to 2011, and represented Australia at Test cricket. Primarily a left-arm wrist spinner, Casson was also capable with the bat and had a highest first-class score of 99. He retired from first-class cricket in 2011.

He plays domestic first-class and List A cricket for the Tasmanian cricket team, also acting as the team's captain. He plays domestic Twenty20 cricket for the Hobart Hurricanes.
Timothy David Paine is an Australian international cricketer who currently captains the Australian national team in Test cricket. A right-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper, he plays for the Tasmanian Tigers in Australian domestic cricket and was the captain of the Hobart Hurricanes before his selection for Australia in the 2017–18 Ashes series.
Benjamin William Hilfenhaus is an Australian former professional cricketer who played for Tasmania in Australian domestic cricket and for the Australia national cricket team. He is right-arm fast-medium bowler known for his ability to swing the ball. Hilfenhaus plays club cricket for Tasmania University Cricket Club. He made his first-class cricket debut in the 2005/06 season and his haul of 39 wickets was a record for someone playing their first season for Tasmania. Before he was given a full-time contract for 2006/07, he worked as a bricklayer as well as playing cricket. He has best bowling figures of 7/58 in first-class cricket, achieved in his first season for Tasmania.
