Gerhard "Gerd" Zimmermann (born 23 September 1942) is a retired German speed skater. He competed at the 1964, 1968 and 1972 Winter Olympics in the 500, 1500, 5000 and 1000 m distances (eight events in total), for Germany and then for West Germany. His best achievements were seventh and eighth place in the 10000 m in 1964 and 1972, respectively. [1]

Erling Martin Jonny Nilsson was a Swedish competitive speed skater. He was the men's Olympic champion in the 10 000 m skating in 1964.

Antonius "Anton" Albertus Jozef Huiskes was a Dutch speed skater who competed at the 1948 and 1952 Winter Olympics. He was born in Wierden, Overijssel and died in Coux-et-Bigaroque, France. In 1948 he finished 27th in the 500 m, 13th in the 10000 m, 24th in the 1500 m, 12th in the 5000 m and 13th in the 10000 m event. Four years later he was fourth in the 5000 m and fifth in the 10000 m competition.

Nathaniel H. "Neil" Blatchford, IV is a retired American speed skater who specialized in the 500 m sprint. In this event he finished in 5th and 15th place at the 1968 and 1972 Winter Olympics, respectively. He finished second in this distance at the 1968 and 1969 world championships. He was the US Intermediate Champion in 1963 and won the All-around title in 1964.
Vladimir Dmitriyevich Komarov was a Russian speed skater. He competed at the 1972 Winter Olympics in the 500 m and finished in 14th place. After retiring from competitions he graduated from an institute of physical education in Moscow Oblast (1979) and worked as a speed skating coach. He was the head coach of the Moscow team in the 1980s. He was the president of the Russian Speed Skating Federation and a member of the national Olympic committee. He married Natalya Petrusyova, a Soviet Olympic speed skater.
Viktor Lyoskin was a Russian speed skater. He competed at the 1980 Winter Olympics in the 5000 m and 10000 m and finished in 11th and 7th place, respectively. On 3 April 1977 he set a new world record on the 10,000 m at the high-altitude rink of Medeo.
Robert Vunderink is a retired speed skater from the Netherlands who was active between 1981 and 1993. He competed at the 1984 and 1992 Winter Olympics in the 5000 m and 10000 m; his best achievement was fourth place in the 10000 m in 1992.
Thomas Bos is a retired speed skater from the Netherlands who was active between 1987 and 1993. In 1992, he set a new world record in the 3000 m. The same year he competed in 10000 m at the 1992 Winter Olympics and finished in 11th place. He won the same event at the national championships in 1990 and finished second in 1989 and third in 1992. His best all round achievement was a bronze medal at the national championships in 1990 and fourth place at the world championships in 1991.

Craig Ross Kressler is a retired American speed skater. At the 1979 World Junior Championships he won the 500 and 3000 m distances and finished third all-around. He competed in four speed skating events at the 1980 Winter Olympics with the best achievement of 11th place in the 500 m. Two weeks later he won a silver all-around medal at the World Junior Championships and retired from competitions.
Helmut Kuhnert is a retired East German speed skater. He competed at the 1956, 1960 and 1964 Winter Olympics in eight events in total. His best achievements were ninth place in 5000 m in 1956 and in 1500 m in 1960. He won a bronze all-around medal at the 1960 World Championships.
