Get Smashed Gate Crash is the first single from Hadouken!'s debut album Music for an Accelerated Culture, released on 4 May 2008. The physical single was available from 17 March 2008, with the digital version being released on 4 April 2008.
The song was Hadouken!'s standard set opener from 2008 until 2009, when it was replaced by the opening track to For the Masses, Rebirth.
Although the song was the first single to be specifically released from Music For An Accelerated Culture, it was not the earliest song to be included on it. Previous singles That Boy That Girl and Liquid Lives were also on the album.
The music video for "Get Smashed Gate Crash" is based on a similar concept to Blink 182's "The Rock Show", where the band are given $500,000 in cash and go out and blow it all. [1] Their video documents the band using two handheld DV camcorders, the band going to 4 pubs and a house party with 30 of their close friends, with money for drinks from the production company. [2]
Vincent John Martin, known professionally as Vince Clarke, is an English synth-pop musician and songwriter. Clarke has been the main composer and musician of the band Erasure since its inception in 1985, and was previously the main songwriter of several groups, including Depeche Mode, Yazoo, and the Assembly. In Erasure he is known for his deadpan and low-key onstage demeanour, often remaining motionless over his keyboard, in sharp contrast to lead vocalist Andy Bell's animated and hyperactive frontman antics.

Hadouken! are a British band formed in London in 2006 by singer, writer and producer James Smith and synth player Alice Spooner along with guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice. The band name is taken from the special attack of the same name from the Street Fighter video game series. It was in Leeds that Hadouken! began their own record label, Surface Noise Records.

It was released in the United Kingdom on 19 November 2007 as the third single from their debut album, Yes Yes Vindictive, and was released in Australia on 25 February 2008. "Declaration of War" is the second single from Hadouken!'s debut album released on 4 May 2008. As of 2009, it is the band's second most successful single, after Liquid Lives, charting at #66 in the UK.
"Crank It Up" is the fifth single from English grime band Hadouken!'s first album Music for an Accelerated Culture. It was released on 7 July 2008 following the recent releases of their singles Get Smashed Gate Crash and Declaration of War from the same album. It also bears a large resemblance to MC Lars' Download This Song.
The M.A.D. EP is a 2009 EP by new rave band Hadouken!. It was released on 14 September 2009. It was released in the UK as a digital download EP, however, a CD single is available in Japan. M.A.D. stands for Mutually Assured Destruction. The title track later appeared on the band's second studio album, For the Masses.
Noisia was a Dutch electronic music trio consisting of members Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger from Groningen, Netherlands. They produce a wide variety of music including drum and bass, dubstep, breakbeat and house. They have released music under several labels including Skrillex's Owsla, deadmau5's mau5trap and Jay-Z's Roc Nation. Noisia previously combined with the group Foreign Beggars to form the supergroup side project I Am Legion. They released their collaborative self-titled album on 2 September 2013. Noisia also have production credits under the pseudonym Nightwatch, such as for their work with Alexis Jordan, Hadouken!, Wiley and Wretch 32. They produced Hadouken!'s album For the Masses that charted at number 19 on the UK Albums Chart.

Filter is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio, by singer Richard Patrick and guitarist and programmer Brian Liesegang. The band was formed when Patrick desired to start his own band after leaving Nine Inch Nails as their touring guitarist. Their debut album Short Bus was released in 1995 and ended up going platinum, largely due to the success of the single "Hey Man Nice Shot". After the album, the band would go through the first of many lineup changes, leaving Patrick as the only consistent member across all releases.
Loadstar was a music production duo from Bristol, United Kingdom. They produced predominantly drum and bass however they worked in other genres such as dubstep and electro. The duo consisted of Gavin "Xample" Harris and Nick "Lomax" Hill. They previously produced under the alias Xample & Lomax.
