Hadouken! were a British band formed in London in 2006 by singer, songwriter and producer James Smith and synth player Alice Spooner along with guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice. The band took its name from the special attack of the same name from the Street Fighter video game series. It was in Leeds that Hadouken! began their own record label, Surface Noise Records.
"Roc Ya Body " is the debut single of American hip hop group MVP featuring rapper Stagga Lee. Released on June 20, 2005, the single peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart, number six on the Irish Singles Chart, number 15 on the Dutch Single Top 100, and number 82 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The group released a follow-up single called "Bounce, Shake, Move, Stop!" in the United Kingdom the following year.
"Kickstarts" is a song by British singer Example. This is the third single from Example's second album, Won't Go Quietly. The song was available to download on 13 June 2010, with a physical single release on 14 June 2010. Production was handled by British drum and bass musician Sub Focus.
"Hot Right Now" is a single by English drum and bass producer DJ Fresh featuring English singer Rita Ora, released on 13 February 2012 as the second single from his third studio album, Nextlevelism (2012), before later being included as a bonus track on Ora's debut studio album Ora (2012).
"Latch" is a song by English electronic music duo Disclosure, featuring vocals from English singer Sam Smith. It was released as a digital download on 8 October 2012, by PMR Records. The lead single from their debut studio album, Settle (2013), the song debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number 26 and peaked at number 11. In the United States, "Latch" was a sleeper hit, peaking at number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 in August 2014.
"As Your Friend" is a song by Dutch DJ Afrojack, featuring vocals by American singer Chris Brown. The song was released as a single via iTunes on 13 February 2013. It was written by Afrojack, Chris Brown, Nadir Sakir, DJ Buddha, and Polow Da Don, and was produced by Afrojack with co-production by Leroy Styles, DJ Buddha and Polow da Don. "As Your Friend" is featured as a bonus track on the deluxe version of Afrojack's 2014 debut studio album Forget the World.
"You Know You Like It" is a song by English electronic music duo AlunaGeorge from their debut studio album, Body Music (2013). The track was released in the United Kingdom on 20 April 2012 as the album's lead single. The song peaked at number 39 on the UK Singles Chart in April 2013 after being used in a Tesco advert.
"My Love" is the first single by British DJ and record producer Route 94, featuring vocals by Jess Glynne. It was released in the United Kingdom on 28 February 2014, through Rinse Recordings. "Levitate" is a song by the British band Hadouken! It was released on 20 January 2013 as the fifth single from their third studio album Every Weekend (2013). It was produced by British duo Loadstar and Dutch bass music trio Noisia. The song was made popular by the band's People Are Awesome 2013 viral video that has accumulated over 120 million YouTube views.
"Wasted" is a song by Dutch DJ and record producer Tiësto featuring Matthew Koma, who co-wrote the song with Tiësto and Australian production and songwriting duo Twice as Nice. "Wasted" was first released on 25 April 2014 by PM:AM Recordings as the second single from Tiësto's fifth studio album, A Town Called Paradise. It was featured in 2014 action comedy film 22 Jump Street.
"G.D.F.R." is a song by American rapper Flo Rida featuring American rapper Sage the Gemini and American music producer and DJ Lookas from the former's EP My House (2015). It was released as the album's lead single on October 21, 2014, in the United States. The song was written by Flo Rida, Sage the Gemini and P-Lo and produced by DJ Frank E and Andrew Cedar with co-production from Lookas and Miles Beard.
"Time of Our Lives" is a song by American rapper Pitbull and American singer Ne-Yo, from the former's eighth studio album Globalization and the latter's sixth studio album Non-Fiction. It was released on November 17, 2014, as the third single from the album by RCA Records. The single was produced by Dr. Luke, Cirkut, Michael "Freakin" Everett and Lifted.
"Hold My Hand" is a song by English singer and songwriter Jess Glynne. It was written by Jack Patterson, Janee Bennett, Ina Wroldsen and Glynne. The song was released on 20 March 2015 as her third solo single, following "Home" and "Right Here". A music video for the song was uploaded to Glynne's own YouTube channel on 23 February 2015. The song debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart on 29 March 2015 and held that position for three consecutive weeks. It also reached number one in Wallonia (Belgium) and Israel, number seven in the Irish Singles Chart, and became Glynne's first solo chart entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 86 on the chart. The song was performed by Glynne on the semi-finals of The Voice UK and was also used in an advertisement for Coca-Cola in 2015. Since late 2015, it has featured in advertising for Jet2holidays, as well as being used for various in-aircraft announcements with Jet2.com. "Are You with Me" is a song by American country singer Easton Corbin. The song first appeared on Corbin's second studio album, All Over the Road (2012). It was later included on Corbin's third studio album, About to Get Real (2015). A remix by Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies was released in 2014, and in 2016 Corbin released the version from About to Get Real as a single of his own.
"Easy Love" is the debut single from British musician Sigala. It features an interpolation of the Jackson 5 song "ABC", re-produced by Hal Ritson and performed by Vula Malinga and Kyle Johnson. It was released on 4 September 2015 as a digital download in the United Kingdom through Ministry of Sound. The song debuted at number 71 on the UK Singles Chart based on streams alone and the following week, shot up 70 places up to peak at the top of both the UK Singles Chart and the UK Dance Chart. It also topped the UK Indie Chart.
