Sidney James Montford Atkinson was a South African athlete, winner of 110 m hurdles at the 1928 Summer Olympics.
Emerson Lane "Bud" Spencer was an American sprinter who won a gold medal in the 4 × 400 m relay at the 1928 Summer Olympics, breaking the world record in the process. A week later he helped to set another world record, at 3.13.4 in the 4×440 yard relay in London.
Arthur "Art" Barnard was an American sprinter. He competed mainly in the 110 m hurdles event, winning a bronze medal at the 1952 Olympics. Barnard attended the University of Southern California. Running for La Jolla High School, he finished second in the 120 yard high hurdles at the 1947 CIF California State Meet.
Erik Wilhelm "Erkka" Wilén was a Finnish sprinter. He competed at the 1920, 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympics in the 400 m and 400 m hurdles events and won a silver medal in the 400 m hurdles in 1924. He failed to reach the finals in all his other events.
Karl Rune Larsson was a Swedish sprinter and hurdler who specialized in 400 m events. He competed at the 1948 and 1952 Summer Olympics and won two bronze medals in 1948: in the 400 m hurdles and 4 × 400 m relay. He also won bronze medals in the same events at the European championships of 1946 and 1950. Larsson received the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal in 1951.
Ragnar "Ragge" Torsten Lundberg was a Swedish pole vaulter who competed at the 1948, 1952 and 1956 Olympics. He won a bronze medal in 1952 and finished fifth in 1948 and 1956. At the European championships he won a gold in 1950 and a silver in 1954; in 1950 he also won a silver medal in the 110 m hurdles.
Patricia Jean "Patty" Van Wolvelaere is a retired hurdler from the United States who competed at the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics Olympics. Her best finish was the fourth place in the 80 m event in 1968. She won the 100 m hurdles at the 1971 Pan American Games and held four national outdoor titles in this event, in 1971, 1973–74 and 1977. Van Wolvelaere also won the National Indoor Championships in the 60 yard hurdles six times between 1967 and 1974, including four in a row in 1971–74.
Håkan Lidman was a Swedish hurdler who specialized in the 110 m event. He competed at the 1936 and 1948 Summer Olympics and finished fourth and sixth, respectively. He won two medals at the European championships: a gold in 1946 and a silver in 1938. In 1940 he set a European record at 14.0 and was awarded the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal. Lidman held the Swedish 110 m hurdles title in 1935–45 and 1947–1948. After retiring from competitions he served as director of the Swedish Athletics Association.
Alf Bertel "Bebbe" Storskrubb was a Finnish middle-distance runner and hurdler. He competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics, where he placed fourth in the 4×400 m relay and competed in 400 m hurdles. He became European champion in the hurdles in 1946.
Bo Erik Örjan Forssander is a retired Swedish sprinter. He competed at the 1964, 1968 and 1972 Olympics in the 110 m hurdles with the best achievement of sixth place in 1968. He won a silver medal in this event at the 1970 European Cup and finished eighth at the 1966 European Championships. Forssander was the Swedish champion over 100 m (1967) and 110 m hurdles, and held the national record in the 110 m hurdles from 1964 to 1992.
Per-Owe "Trollet" Trollsås was a Swedish sprinter who won a silver medal in the 400 m hurdles at the 1958 European Athletics Championships, setting a national record in the semifinal. He competed in the 400 m hurdles and 4 × 400 m relay at the 1960 Summer Olympics, but failed to reach the finals.
James Edward "Jay" Luck is a retired American hurdler and sprinter who mostly competed in the 400 m hurdles. He placed fifth at the 1964 Summer Olympics. At the AAU championships, he was fourth in 1961–62, second in 1964, and third in 1965.
