Gil de Andrade (born 1883) was a Portuguese fencer. [1] He competed in the individual foil event at the 1924 Summer Olympics. [2]

Gil Roberts is an American athlete who specializes in the 200 m and 400 m. He competed for Texas Tech under coach Wes Kittley at the NCAA level. He was a member of the USA team that won the gold medal in the Men's 4×400 metres relay at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships. Roberts won the 2014 US Outdoor championship in 44.53 on June 28 in Sacramento, California. On 21 June 2024 he was sanctioned by the USADS for doping violations.

Having won a total of six Olympic and nine World medals, she is the most decorated Brazilian and Latin American gymnast of all time, as well as the most decorated Brazilian Olympian in any discipline. In the all-around, she is the 2022 World champion, a two-time Olympic silver medalist, the 2023 World silver medalist, and the 2021 Pan American champion. On vault, she is the 2020 Olympic gold medalist, the 2024 Olympic silver medalist, a two-time World Champion, and the 2023 Pan American Games champion.
