Gingee N. Ramachandran (born 3 June 1944) is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha,lower house of the Parliament of India as member of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.He was the Union Minister of State,Textiles and Finance &Company Affairs in Vajpayee Ministry.He joined the AIADMK in the presence of Jayalalitha in 2014. The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is an Indian regional political party with great influence in the state of Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry. It is a Dravidian party founded by the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu M. G. Ramachandran (M.G.R.) at Madurai on 17 October 1972 as a breakaway faction from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam after M. Karunanidhi expelled him from the party for demanding an account as the party treasurer. The party is adhering to the policies of socialism and secularism based on the principles of C. N. Annadurai (Anna) collectively coined as Annaism by M.G.R. The party has won a seven-time majority in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and has emerged as the most successful political outfit in the state's history. It is currently the main opposition party in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
Maruthur Gopalan Ramachandran,popularly known by his initials M.G.R.,was an Indian actor,film producer,film director,politician and philanthropist who served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu from 1977 until his death in 1987. He was the founder and first general secretary of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. On 19 March 1988,Ramachandran was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna,India's highest civilian honour. Ramachandran is regarded as one of the most influential politicians of post-independence India. Apart from politics,as a film personality he won the National Film Award,two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and two Filmfare Award South.

K C Palanisamy is an Indian politician,former Member of Parliament (MP) and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Tamil Nadu (TN). A former member of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK),he served the Dravidian party founded by former Chief Minister (CM) of Tamil Nadu,M G Ramachandran (MGR) on 17 October 1972. He was born and raised in Chennimalai,Erode District of Tamil Nadu. At the age of 9,K C Palanisamy met MGR and got influenced by the mission and vision of AIADMK. His political career began aged 13. In 1972,he joined AIADMK as a party member. K C Palanisamy was handpicked by former CM of Tamil Nadu,MGR as Deputy District Secretary of AIADMK’s Youth Wing in 1982,at the age of 23. In 1984,he was elected as the party’s youngest Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kangeyam constituency in Thiruppur District. In 1989,K C Palanisamy chosen to contest in Assembly election as Member of Parliament (MP) by Jayalalitha and won with the second highest vote difference Nationally and highest difference in the State.

Subburaman Thirunavukkarasar is an Indian politician. He was the State President of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee till 2 February 2019 and former secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) of the Indian National Congress (INC) party. His introduction to politics in 1977 was facilitated by former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu,M. G. Ramachandran. Ramachandran founded the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in 1972 and was facing his first elections for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election in 1977. He identified Thirunavukkarasar,a lawyer by profession,to contest the Aranthangi assembly constituency. Thirunavukkarasar won the seat,aged 27,and was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. He continued in that capacity till 1980. Subsequently,he served as Tamil Nadu state minister from 1980 to 1987 in the MGR cabinet,holding portfolios that included Industries,Housing Board,Excise and Handlooms. Later,he became a member of the Lok Sabha –the lower house of the Parliament of India –when he won the erstwhile Pudukottai Lok Sabha constituency. He served as Union Minister of state for shipping and later for telecommunications and information technology.
Munisamy Thambidurai is an Indian politician who served as the Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha and leader of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in the Lok Sabha,the lower house of the Indian Parliament. He had served as the Cabinet Minister of Law,Justice and Company Affairs and as the Minister of State of Surface Transport from March 1998 to April 1999. The united strength of AIADMK after the merger of J.Jayalalithaa,V.N Janaki Ramachandran and R.M Veerappan faction,who was made Joint General Secretary of AIADMK,the alliance with the Congress,and the wave of public sympathy in the wake of Rajiv Gandhi assassination combined to produce a massive victory for the AIADMK. The DMK could only win 2 seats. This was the worst performance of the DMK since it entered electoral politics in the 1957.
C. Aranganayagam was an Indian politician. He was elected a member of Tamil Nadu Legislative assembly four times,twice from the Thondamuthur constituency and twice from the Coimbatore West constituency as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate. He also served as a Minister of Education in the sixth assembly. Later he joined DMK and quit in 2014 before the Lok Sabha election.
