Gita Fara Praditya (born 2 February 1985) is an Indonesian film producer and editor. She won the Citra Award for Best Picture for producing Before, Now & Then (2022). [1]
Fara started her career in the film industry as an assistant editor for documentary film Serambi (2005) and Garin Nugroho's musical film Opera Jawa (2006). [2] As a producer, she made her producing debut as a line producer for Kamila Andini's directorial debut film The Mirror Never Lies in 2011. [3] In 2017, she founded production company Cineria Films with director Aldo Swastia. [4]
In 2024, she was selected as one of the Producers Under the Spotlight in Marché du Film along with four other Indonesian producers, Yulia Evina Bhara, Ifa Isfansyah, Mandy Marahimin, and Muhammad Zaidy. [5]

Joko Anwar is an Indonesian film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. Prior to becoming a filmmaker, he worked as a journalist and film critic.
Herlina Christine Natalia Hakim is an Indonesian actress, film producer, and activist. Born to a devout Muslim family of mixed-race background in Jambi, she grew up in Yogyakarta, aspiring to be an architect or psychologist. This changed after she was discovered by Teguh Karya for his 1973 movie Cinta Pertama, a role which garnered her a Citra Award for Best Actress and convinced her to follow a career in acting. Ifa Isfansyah is an Indonesian film director. Initially a maker of short films, his first featured film, Garuda di Dadaku, was released in 2009. His following film, Sang Penari, won four Citra Awards at the 2011 Indonesian Film Festival.

The Mirror Never Lies is a 2011 Indonesian film directed by Kamila Andini and co-produced by Andini's father, Garin Nugroho, and former Puteri Indonesia Nadine Chandrawinata. Starring Gita Novalista, Atiqah Hasiholan, and Reza Rahadian, it follows a young Bajau girl named Pakis who has lost her father at sea and uses mirrors to unsuccessfully search for him. It has several interpretations, including as a coming-of-age story and as an environmentalist piece.

The film is adapted from the first chapter of the novel Jais Darga Namaku by Ahda Imran, telling the true story of Raden Nana Sunani, a woman who lived in the 1960s West Java.
