Glenn Edward Rogers, Jr. (born June 8, 1969) is a former football player in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for seven years. He also played one season in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Memphis State University, now known as the University of Memphis, from 1987 to 1991 as a defensive back.

Football career

Rogers played defensive back for three different teams, mainly for the Edmonton Eskimos from 1993 to 1999. He was a CFL All-Star three times and was part of a Grey Cup winning team for the Eskimos. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1991 for only one season. [1] The Grey Cup is the Canadian equivalent to the NFL Super Bowl. Rogers is a teacher/coach for Memphis University School in Memphis, TN. He is also the assistant to the director of admissions at MUS. Rogers is married to Tonette Rogers and has two children named Kendrick and Mya.

He played every season in the league from 1990 to 2006, as a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, BC Lions, Edmonton Eskimos, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and finally with the Calgary Stampeders. John Chick is a former professional Canadian football defensive end who played eight seasons in the Canadian Football League, primarily with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. After signing with Saskatchewan in 2007, he was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player after the 2009 CFL season. He would help the team capture the Grey Cup twice, in 2007 and 2013. Chick has also spent time in the National Football League (NFL) with the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars. Prior to playing professional football, Chick played college football for the Utah State Aggies. During his senior season with the Aggies, Chick recorded 12.5 quarterback sacks, good enough for fifth overall in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Chick also played for the Hamilton Tiger Cats and Edmonton Eskimos later in his career.

Greg Battle is a former Canadian Football League (CFL) linebacker for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Robert F. Waldrop is a former American college and professional gridiron football player who was a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at the University of Arizona, where he was a two-time consensus All-American for the Wildcats. Waldrop played professionally for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs, and the Memphis Mad Dogs and Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.

Elmer Roland "Rollie" Miles was a professional football player for the Canadian Football League (CFL)'s Edmonton Eskimos. Miles played offence, defence, and special teams, during his eleven-year career with the Eskimos. Miles is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, and the Edmonton Eskimos Wall of Honour. In November 2006, Miles was voted one of the CFL's Top 50 players (#48) of the league's modern era by Canadian sports network TSN.

Willie Pless is a former Canadian football linebacker in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for the Toronto Argonauts, BC Lions, Edmonton Eskimos, and Saskatchewan Roughriders, winning the 1993 Grey Cup with the Eskimos. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2005.

Bill Stevenson was a Canadian Football League (CFL) player with the Edmonton Eskimos. After playing college football at Drake University, he was drafted by the NFL's Miami Dolphins and played in the World Football League (WFL) with the Memphis Southmen for two seasons, followed by a 14-year CFL career with the Eskimos, the first three as a defensive lineman and the remainder as an offensive lineman.
