Politics of Ghana takes place in a framework of a presidential representative democratic republic,whereby the president of Ghana is both head of state and head of government,and of a two party system. The seat of government is at Golden Jubilee House. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and Parliament. The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature.
Edward Akufo-Addo was a Ghanaian politician and lawyer. He was a member of the "Big Six" leaders of the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC) and one of the founding fathers of Ghana who engaged in the fight for Ghana's independence. Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo is a Ghanaian public figure and the First Lady of Ghana. She is the wife of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Prior to her appointment to the Supreme Court,she was a Ghanaian law professor who served as a member of the United Nations Independent Panel On Peace Operations.
Samuel Abu Jinapor,is a Ghanaian lawyer and a politician. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and the Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency. In 2017,President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo appointed him as Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations at the Office of the President,at the age of 33,the youngest in the history of Ghana to occupy such a position. He is currently the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.
Patrick Darko Missah is a Ghanaian agriculturalist and human resource person. He has been a prison officer since 1989 and was appointed in 2017 by President Nana Akuffo-Addo as the Director General of the Ghana Prisons Service.

Godfred Yeboah Dame is a Ghanaian lawyer and politician. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party. He was previously the deputy Attorney General and Minister of Justice. He is currently the Attorney General.
Richard Adjei-Frimpong is a Ghanaian judge and an active justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
