Godmorgon Sverige (Good morning, Sweden) is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop music artist Mauro Scocco. It was released in 1996 on Scocco's own record label Diesel Music. [2] The album consists mainly of soul ballads, comparable to an R. Kelly with Swedish lyrics.[ citation needed ] The lyrics revolve mostly around love, more often than not in a dark way. [1] Three singles were released from the album: "Om Det Är O.K." (If it is OK), "Det Är Dags" (It is time), and "Kärleken Var Här" (Love was here). [2] The album peaked at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart, marking Scocco's third number one album in the country.

Kent was a Swedish alternative rock band formed in Eskilstuna in 1990. With members Joakim Berg, Martin Sköld, Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen, the band had numerous radio hits throughout Sweden and Scandinavia and consecutive number-one studio albums on the Sweden top list (Sverigetopplistan) beginning with the release of Verkligen (1996) and led by the single "Kräm ". With origins rooted in distorted rock, they found mainstream success through their alternative rock albums of the mid-1990s, 2000s and 2010s, the latter decades during which they adopted elements of synthpop.

Mauro Scocco is a Swedish pop musician of Italian descent. He has been described as "one of the sharpest songwriters in Sweden". Scocco was the singer for the pop group Ratata (1980–83) transformed into a duo with Johan Ekelund (1983–89). After Ratata, Scocco has continued as a solo artist since. In 2014, he cooperated with Plura Jonsson releasing a joint album as Mauro & Plura.

Hits is the first greatest hits album by Swedish pop music artist Mauro Scocco. It was released in 1997 through Scocco's own record label Diesel Music and Hollywood Records in the United States and Canada. The album was released on CD and does not appear on streaming services such as Spotify or TIDAL.

La Dolce Vita – Det Bästa 1982–2003 is the second compilation album by Swedish pop music artist Mauro Scocco. Unlike the previous greatest hits compilation, Hits, this double CD spanned Scocco's entire career, including his early career as a member of the pop group Ratata. The selections were picked by Scocco himself. It also included a version of the Scocco-penned Lisa Nilsson hit "Himlen runt hörnet", featuring Scocco himself, Nilsson, and Swedish blues artist Driftwood. There were also various unreleased demos included on the album. It was released in 2003 through Scocco's own record label Diesel Music.

Leif Bloms was a dansband in Växjö in Sweden. scoring chart successes at the Swedish album chart during the mid-late 1970s. On 31 December 1995 the band was disbanded after singing and playing together for almost 40 years. Starting with the 1981 album Håll dig kvar, the band's singer was Mona Gustafsson, who wrote the band's 1992 song "Dej ska jag älska all min tid" which won the 1992 Hänt song contest in Älvsjö. After the band was disbanded, Mona Gustafsson, Patrik Ahlm and René Saulesco founded another dansband, Mona G:s orkester.
Helene & gänget was a dansband in Kristianstad in Sweden, founded 1990 by members of the Färmarna dansband. The band broke through in 1995 with the album Segla din båt i hamn. The band broke up in 2002 and its singer Helene Persson begun acting as SR Kristianstad programme host. Thor-Erics was a dansband in Hyssna, Sweden. The band was established in 1963 and performed for last time on 27 December 1999. The band appeared at TV in Sweden and Norway several times. Nick Borgen performed with the band by the late 1970s and early 1980s.
John Charles Kenneth Gärdestad was a Swedish songwriter, best known for writing lyrics for the songs of his brother, Ted Gärdestad. He participated at Melodifestivalen 1979 as a songwriter for the winning song "Satellit" performed by his brother. The song went on to Eurovision the same year, where it placed 17th. Gärdestad was also an architect, affiliated to the private Kunskapsskolan, where he designed the interior of several of its high schools. Gärdestad published the biography Jag vill ha en egen måne in 2005. In later years he became a mental health activist, and created the "Ted Gärdestad Stipend", a prize awarded to amateur singers and songwriter.
