Gombe-Matadi is a community in Kongo Central Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

This town of around 30,000 inhabitants is located 51 km from Mbanza-Ngungu and around 20 km from the holy town of Nkamba.

The town has been known for its educational institutions since the days of the missionaries. It boasts the ITP Gombe-Matadi, where technical skills are taught, [1] [2] the Institut Menga, where chemistry and pedagogy are taught, and other educational institutions.
