Good Man Down is the second album by Estonian indie rock band Ewert and The Two Dragons. It was released on April 15, 2011, as the follow-up to their debut album The Hills Behind The Hills. Upon release, the album was met with positive response from critics and was nominated for four awards for Estonian Music Awards, of which it won all. The album was the best-selling album of 2011 and 2012 in Estonia. [1] On June 25, 2013, the album was re-released in the US by Sire Records and Warner Bros. Records.
The band started recording the album as a follow-up to their 2009 album The Hills Behind The Hills. The songs were written and developed during the band's stay at a cottage in Kloogaranna which belonged to Ewert Sundja's father-in-law. The tracks "(In The End) There's Only Love" and "You Had Me At Hello" were recorded during the band's stay at Kloogaranna. The recording of the rest of the album took place in Türi Centre for Performing Arts at the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011. Additional recording and mastering of the album took place at Sonicmedia Studios by Siim Mäesalu. [2]
On April 15, the album was released in Estonia and Latvia on the Latvian indie label I Love You Records. [3] A year after that, the album was released in Belgium and the Netherlands on Talitres Records. [4] On November 9, the album came out in Sweden under the label Adore Music.
The first single from the album, "(In The End) There's Only Love" was released in January 2011 for radio airplay in Estonia and Latvia. It was immediately picked up by Estonian and Latvian radio stations and was well received by listeners and critics. [5] The music video for the song was released on January 19. The second single from the album, "Good Man Down" was released in November. On November 8, a music video for the single was released, directed by Andzei Matsukevits and Kaimar Kukk and produced by Contrast Eye and Caviar Productions. [6]

Teenage Fanclub are a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Glasgow in 1989. The group were founded by Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley and Gerard Love, all of whom shared lead vocals and songwriting duties until Love's departure in 2018. As of 2023, the band's lineup consists of Blake, McGinley, Francis Macdonald, Dave McGowan and Euros Childs.

Terminaator is an Estonian rock group formed in 1987 by Arno Veimer and Jaagup Kreem in Tallinn 10. High School. Kreem was in the 7th grade then. The first public performance was in Tallinn 47. High School in the schoolbands' festival. The first time in the studio was in 1989. First songs "Charleen" and "Meeletu maailm" were recorded in 1991. They found wider fame in 1992, when they won the festival of young bands Rock In. They have also performed in Latvia, Lithuania and Finland, although they have not had much success outside of Estonia. On the Estonian television show "7 vaprat", Terminaator have appeared playing their songs "Ainult sina võid mu maailma muuta", "Juulikuu lumi", "See ei ole saladus", and "Portselanist tüdruk".
Laura Põldvere sometimes known professionally as simply Laura, is an Estonian singer. She is said to be the most played Estonian artist on Estonian radio in the past decade. She is internationally known for representing Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 as part of the girl group Suntribe and did so again in 2017 in a duet with Koit Toome, singing "Verona."
Estonia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Siren" written by Robin Juhkental. The song was performed by Malcolm Lincoln and Manpower 4. The Estonian broadcaster Eesti Rahvusringhääling (ERR) organised the national final Eesti Laul 2010 in order to select the Estonian entry for the 2010 contest in Oslo, Norway. Ten songs competed in the national final and the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. In the first round, a jury panel and a public vote selected the top two to qualify to the super final.In the super final, "Siren" performed by Malcolm Lincoln and Manpower 4 was selected as the winner entirely by a public vote.

The Princes is an Estonian rock band. The band was formed in 2009 by Edward Krimm and Jaagup Tormis, the grandson of one of the greatest living choral composers Veljo Tormis. The current lineup consists of Edward Krimm, Jaagup Tormis, Kaur Garšnek (guitar) and Valdur Viiklepp. All the members have a musical background and have taken part in other musical groups as well. Most notably, Jaagup Tormis has played in Sinine and Pedigree, Kaur Garšnek has played in Kreatiivmootor. Past members of The Princes have included Taavi Paomets, Kostja Tsõbulevski and Madis Viksi.
