History

Good Morning Club began airing on February 6, 2012, as a merger of two morning shows, namely Sapul sa Singko and Kumare Klub. Originally aired from 5:00-7:30 am, the program later cut its airing to two hours (from 5:00-7:00 am) and expanded to three hours (from 5:00-8:00 am) in 2013. It simulcasted on AksyonTV, as well as on Radyo5 92.3 News FM from 5:30-6:00 am.

On October 14, 2013, as part of the launch of the network's Everyday All the Way campaign, the show underwent a reformat where it implemented a "4-in-1" format consisting of 'Good Morning, Grace' (which was later axed), 'Good Morning Sir!', 'Good Morning Girls' and 'Good Morning, MamuTin!'. At the same time, the program was also shortened to two hours (from 6:00-8:00 am), then expanded to 2 hours and 30 minutes (from 5:30-8:00 am).

Good Morning Club aired its final episode on May 2, 2014, and was replaced by its former segment, Good Morning Ser, which began on May 5.

Cancellation

The final airing of Good Morning Ser was on July 18, 2014, and was replaced by the first of four editions of the network's flagship news program Aksyon, Aksyon sa Umaga , which began on July 21.

Simulcast on AksyonTV and on the radio through 92.3 News FM in Mega Manila, the program is broadcast Monday to Friday from 10:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. (PST). The newscast is based on News5's Facebook fan page JournalisMO. In JournalisMO, citizens can express their opinions on the different issues of the country. Sapul sa Singko, formerly Sapul was TV5’s daily morning show. The two-hour program premiered on April 5, 2010, as Sapul and due to its widespread success and viewership, it was expanded to a three-hour program on October 25, 2010, and rebranded as Sapul sa Singko. The 27th PMPC Star Awards for Television ceremony was held at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on November 24, 2013, and broadcast over ABS-CBN Channel 2 on December 1, 2013. The ceremony was hosted by Alex and Toni Gonzaga, Raymond and Richard Gutierrez and directed by Al Quinn. The theme is in coincidence with the Philippine Television's 60th anniversary.

The 26th PMPC Star Awards for Television ceremony was held at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater in Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City on November 18, 2012 and broadcast over ABS-CBN Channel 2 on November 25, 2012. The ceremony was hosted by Aga Muhlach, Kris Aquino and Toni Gonzaga and directed by Al Quinn.

It is also simulcast on One News, One PH, 92.3 Radyo5 True FM, and online via livestreaming on Facebook, YouTube, and News5's official website. Currently, Cosim and Julius Babao serve as the main anchors.
