The Goose Game Museum, located in Rambouillet (Yvelines), France, housed the collection of Pierre Dietsch. [1] [2] The collection was exhibited from 2001 to 2011; it is now kept in storage.
The Pierre-Dietsch collection, consisting of 2,500 goose games, is one of the largest in the world. [3] Pierre Dietsch, an Alsatian polytechnician, [3] built this collection over thirty years during his travels in Europe; he died in 1999 (on 17 February), shortly after depositing his games with the town of Rambouillet. This deposit led to the opening of the Goose Game Museum on 6. [4] 80 goose games, both French and foreign [5] [6] were permanently displayed until the museum's closure in 2011. [4] [7] [2] The collection, purchased in 2008, remains in the possession of the city hall. [8]
The museum was located in a restored wing of the Palais du Roi de Rome, in the center of Rambouillet.
The Louvre, or the Louvre Museum, is a national art museum in Paris, France, and one of the most famous museums in the world. The Musée d'Orsay is a museum in Paris, France, on the Left Bank of the Seine. It is housed in the former Gare d'Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station built between 1898 and 1900. The museum holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography. It houses the largest collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist masterpieces in the world, by painters including Berthe Morisot, Claude Monet, Édouard Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Seurat, Sisley, Gauguin, and van Gogh. Many of these works were held at the Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume prior to the museum's opening in 1986. It is one of the largest art museums in Europe.

Gérard Philippe René André Larcher is a French politician serving as president of the Senate since 2014, previously holding the office from 2008 to 2011. A member of The Republicans, he has been a Senator for the Yvelines department since 1986, with an interruption between 2004 and 2007, when he was Minister for Employment, Labour and Professional Integration of Young People under President Jacques Chirac. Larcher also served as mayor of Rambouillet from 1983 to 2004 and again from 2007 until 2014.

The Musée Bartholdi is a museum dedicated to French sculptor Auguste Bartholdi and is situated at 30 rue des Marchands in Colmar, at the artist's birthplace. The museum has the "Musée de France" label. In 2011, the building was labeled "Maisons des Illustres" by the Ministry of Culture and Communication. In the courtyard there is a statue named Statue des grands soutiens du monde. Two doors of the 17th century were registered as a monument historique on 18 June 1926. In 2012, the museum numbered over 16,000 visitors.

In 1972, he was co-creator of the Corrida de Houilles, an international road race held each year between Christmas and New Year's.

It is located in the Yvelines department, in the Île-de-France region, northern France. Created in 2017, its seat is in Rambouillet. Its area is 629.5 km2. Its population was 79,127 in 2019, of which 27,141 in Rambouillet proper.
