Selvaraghavan is an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor who has directed and acted predominantly Tamil films. He had his directorial debut with Thulluvadho Ilamai (2002) but his father is credited for business reasons, which stars his brother Dhanush K. Raja, Selvaraghavan went on to make a series of romantic drama films with Kadhal Kondein (2003) and 7G Rainbow Colony (2004) before also venturing into coming-of-age films Pudhupettai (2006) and Mayakkam Enna (2011), both starring Dhanush. He has also ventured into making science fiction and fantasy films, such as depicting a fantasy Chola kingdom in Aayirathil Oruvan (2010) and a parallel universe in Irandam Ulagam (2013). Mohan Raja is an Indian film director and screenwriter who primarily works in Tamil and Telugu film industries. After making his debut in the Telugu film Hanuman Junction (2001), he went on to remake several successful Telugu films into Tamil, beginning with Jayam (2003) which also launched his brother Ravi as a leading actor. Raja then collaborated with Ravi for three consecutive commercially successful films, M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi (2004), Something Something... Kaatteri is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language comedy horror film written and directed by Deekay and produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under his production banner Studio Green. The film stars Vaibhav, Sonam Bajwa, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Aathmika, while Karunakaran, Ravi Mariya, and Kutty Gopi play supporting roles. The film's music is composed by S. N. Market Raja MBBS is 2019 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Saran and produced by S. Mohan. The film stars Arav in the title role in his lead film debut alongside Nikesha Patel. The music was composed by Simon K. King, while cinematography was handled by the director's younger brother, K. V. Guhan and editing by Gopi Krishna. The film released on 29 November 2019. The film's title is similar to Saran's Vasool Raja MBBS (2004).
Thani Oruvan is the soundtrack album for the 2015 Tamil film of the same name directed by Mohan Raja and starring Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy. The album has five songs in total, all of them being composed by Hiphop Tamizha, and also wrote four out of five tracks, with Mohan Raja penning one of the tracks from the album. It is Hiphop Tamizha's third feature film as a composer, after Aambala and Indru Netru Naalai. The soundtrack album was unveiled by Sony Music India on 25 July 2015, and received positive response from critics and audiences. Thani Oruvan was listed as the most streamed Tamil album and the second best Tamil album of iTunes of the year 2015, followed by O Kadhal Kanmani.
Thani Oruvan 2 is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Mohan Raja, produced by AGS Entertainment. A sequel to Thani Oruvan (2015), Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara reprises their roles from the first film.
