Goran Markov (born 27 February 1970) is a Macedonian football coach and a former player. [1] He manages the third team of Hertha BSC. [2] He also holds German citizenship.
Markov made seven appearances in the Bundesliga during his playing career.

Georgi Ivanov Markov was a Bulgarian dissident writer. He originally worked as a novelist, screenwriter and playwright in his native country, the People's Republic of Bulgaria, until his defection in 1969. After relocating to London, he worked as a broadcaster and journalist for the BBC World Service, the US-funded Radio Free Europe and West Germany's Deutsche Welle. Markov used such forums to conduct a campaign of sarcastic criticism against the incumbent Bulgarian-Soviet regime, which, according to his wife at the time he died, eventually became "vitriolic" and included "really smearing mud on the people in the inner circles."

Oleg Markov is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played 23 matches over five years with Richmond, after being drafted to the club in the third round of the 2015 AFL National Draft. He made his AFL debut in round 16 of the 2016 season and in 2019 was a VFL premiership player while playing with Richmond's reserves side. Markov was traded to Gold Coast in the 2020 trade period in exchange for a future third round draft selection, and played 25 games for the club over 2 seasons before being signed by the Collingwood Football Club in the Supplemental Selection Period (SSP).
