Graand Production is a film production company which produces Malayalam language films, founded by Indian film actor Dileep and his brother Anoop. [1] [2] Its first production venture was the 2003 film C.I.D. Moosa . [3]

2008 Twenty:20 Joshiy The film was the highest grossing Malayalam film at the time. It was an industry hit breaking the record of the previous IH Rajamanikyam. The film was produced on behalf of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) as a fundraiser to financially support actors who are struggling in the Malayalam film industry. All the actors in AMMA worked without payment in order to raise funds for their welfare schemes. The film features an ensemble cast, which includes almost all major artists in Mollywood. [4] [5]

It stars Dileep in the title role of a private detective, and also features Bhavana, Murali, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harisree Ashokan, Cochin Haneefa, Jagathy Sreekumar, Captain Raju, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, and Salim Kumar. The film was released on 4 July 2003. It was a box office success, becoming the second highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year, behind Balettan. The film is known for its slapstick comedy and has developed a cult following. C.I.D Moosa was remade in Tamil as Cheena Thaana 001, in Kannada as CID Eesha and in Telugu as Ramachari.

Johny Antony is an Indian film director and actor, known for making comedy films in Malayalam cinema. He is from Changanassery in Kottayam district, Kerala. He worked for about a decade as an associate to directors Thulasidas, Taha, Kamal and Jose Thomas. Antony made his directorial debut with the slapstick comedy C.I.D. Moosa in 2003. Ee Parakkum Thalika is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language slapstick comedy drama film starring Dileep, Harisree Asokan, Nithya Das and Cochin Haneefa. It was directed by Thaha and written by V. R. Gopalakrishnan, seems to have been inspired by Mouse Hunt. The film was also the debut film of actress Nithya Das. The story follows bus owner Unnikrishnan and his assistant Sundareshan who live and sleep in their bus. It is considered one of the best slapstick comedy movies in Malayalam cinema and was one of the highest grossing Malayalam movie in 2001. The bus known as Thamarakshan Pilla, which is a central figure in the movie eventually developed into a cult figure in Kerala.

China Town is a 2011 Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film written and directed by the Rafi Mecartin duo and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the company Aashirvad Cinemas. The film stars Mohanlal, Jayaram, Dileep and Suraj Venjaramoodu with Kavya Madhavan, Poonam Bajwa, Dipa Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Captain Raju and Shankar in pivotal roles. Jagathi Sreekumar makes a cameo appearance. Jassie Gift provided the film's music. The film is loosely based on The Hangover.

Drishyam became the highest-grossing Malayalam film ever, at its time of release. It was the first Malayalam film to cross the 50 crore mark, at the box office. Drishyam 2 was released directly through Amazon Prime Video, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Like the prequel, it was highly acclaimed and appreciated, worldwide.

<i>Ring Master</i> 2014 Indian film

Ring Master is a 2014 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film written and directed by Rafi, starring Dileep in the role of an animal trainer in circus. Keerthy Suresh, Honey Rose, Vijayaraghavan, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Guinness Pakru play the other characters. The film was released on 12 April 2014 to positive response. The film was a commercial success at the box office.

Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films, in addition to a few Malayalam films. She was recognised as Forbes 30 under 30 in 2021.She won the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying actress Savitri in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also received three SIIMA Awards, one Filmfare Award South, and two Zee Cine Awards Telugu among others for her performance in various films.
