Grace is the debut studio album by New Zealand classical crossover musician Moses Mackay of the band Sol3 Mio. The album was released on 28 April 2023, and debuted at number one in New Zealand.
Unlike Mackay's albums with Sol3 Mio, Grace is composed of original songs, written by Mackay himself, who wanted to portray another side of himself to his work with Sole3 Mio. [1] Mackay dedicated the album to his grandmother, who passed away when he was young. The song "Grace" was written by Mackay when he was 17, in memory of her. [2]
The album was recorded at Furaha Studios in Los Angeles over a period of three months. [1] The album was written without a genre in mind, but incorporates elements of classical crossover and soul. [2] [3]
In December 2022, Mackay performed a special concert in collaboration with Ludwig Treviranus at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, where he performed material from Grace. [4] The first single from the album was "Some Sorta Sensation", on 31 March 2023, which was promoted with a music video shot in Los Angeles. [5] "Embers of Fire" was released as a single on 28 April, the same day of the album's release. [1]
Corrine Rutherford of muzic.net.nz gave the album five stars, describing it as "an album in which you sit and appreciate the beauty which unfolds", and praising Mackay's vocal abilities. [6]

Zed is a New Zealand pop rock group, which formed as Supra in 1996 in Christchurch by Ben Campbell on bass guitar, Nathan King on lead vocals and guitar, and Adrian Palmer on drums. In 2000 they added a second guitarist, Andrew Lynch. Their debut album, Silencer (2000), peaked at No. 1 on the New Zealand Albums Chart; while their second album, This Little Empire, reached No. 3. Their top 10 singles are "Glorafilia" (1999), "Renegade Fighter" (2000) and "Hard to Find Her" (2003). They toured New Zealand, Australia and United States before disbanding in 2004. They have reformed periodically including in 2017 and again in 2019.
Rosmini College is a state integrated Catholic secondary school for boys, situated in Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand. The school caters to Years 7-13, and currently has a roll of approximately 1120 students and staff of 75 teachers. Nesian Mystik was a New Zealand hip-hop/R&B group which formed in 1999. The cultural backgrounds of its members united a remarkable diversity of Polynesia by bringing together Cook Island, Tongan, Samoan and Maori ancestry.
