Grace Kaudha, also known as Grace Hailat Kaudha Magumba, (14 October 1986-1 July 2017) was a Ugandan politician and a legislator who was the Women's Representative for Iganga district in the 10th parliament of Uganda in 2016. [1] She was affiliated with the National Resistance Movement. [2]

She died at Mulago National Referral Hospital in Kawempe on Saturday 1 July 2017 at 2:00 o'clock. [3] Her death is said to have been caused by a condition called pre-eclampsia caused by pregnancy complications. [2] She was laid to rest in Magogo village, Nawaningi sub-county in Iganga district. [4] [5]

Career

She was the Women's Representative of Iganga district who replaced Kabaale Kwagala Olivia, and she served on the Committee on Rules, Discipline and Privileges and the Committee on Gender, Labour and Social Development. [2] [6]

Personal life

She was a wife to Ibrahim Tooto and a mother to one child. [4] [7]

Agnes Taaka also known as Taaka Agnes Wejuli is a Ugandan politician, Social Worker, and legislator. She is the district woman representative of Bugiri District. She served in the ninth, tenth and eleventh Parliament of Uganda as the Member of Parliament. She belongs to the ruling political party, National Resistance Movement. She is the current Woman Member of Parliament of Bugiri District in period (2021-2026) after being declared as winner in the just concluded presidential and parliamentary elections in Uganda.

Annie Logiel was a female Ugandan politician, a trained nurse, founder of Karamoja Traditional Healers Association, and district woman representative of Moroto in the 10th Parliament of Uganda under the National Resistance Movement political party. She was elected in 2016 and passed on in 2017. She died at the age of 48 at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen in Denmark where she was taken for an operation to remove a tumour on her brain. It was reported by her family that she went through the brain tumour operation but later developed complications leading to her death.

Dorothy Nyakato Nzibonera is a Ugandan politician who is the Woman Member of Parliament for Kitagwenda District in Uganda in the eleventh Parliament of the Republic of Uganda. She is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement the ruling political party in Uganda after the January, 2021 polls. She is also an accountant by profession and has served as an accounting assistant at the Human Rights Center Uganda.

Esther Opoti Dhugira was a Ugandan legislator and Woman Member of Parliament for Nebbi District in Uganda's 7th Parliament. In Uganda's Constituent Assembly between 1994 and 1995, she represented Okoro County in Nebbi. Dhugira alongside Winnie Byanyima and others was one of the founders of Forum for Women in Democracy (FOWODE)
