Gradenje (pronounced [ɡɾaˈdeːnjɛ] ) is a small settlement in the Municipality of Šmarješke Toplice in southeastern Slovenia. The municipality is included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region and was part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. [2]

Businesses accounted for 90% of the sources of financing. The population's age structure in this region is favourable. In mid-2013 the value of the ageing index was 105.2, which means that the ratio between the population 65 or older and the population 15 or less was 105 older people per 100 young people.
