Grant Geoffrey Robinson (born 24 July 1979) is a New Zealand former cricketer who played first-class and List A cricket for Northern Districts from 2001 to 2008. He was born at Gisborne in 1979. [1]
A left-handed batsman,Robinson's highest first-class score was 125 not out in Northern Districts' 16-run victory over Auckland in 2002–03. [2] He was also a leading member of the Hamilton team that dominated the Hawke Cup competition in the 2000s. In 2005–06 he scored 268 against Northland to record the second-highest score in the history of the competition. [3]
Robinson studied Law and Commerce at Waikato University. [4] After working in senior positions for Westpac in Auckland,in 2019 he joined the compostable-packaging company Ecoware as general manager. [5] He has a family with his wife Anna. [4]
Martin David Crowe was a New Zealand cricketer,Test and ODI captain as well as a commentator. He played for the New Zealand national cricket team between 1982 and 1995,and is regarded as one of the country's greatest batsmen.

Timothy Grant Southee,is a New Zealand international cricketer who has captained New Zealand cricket team in all formats of the game. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and a hard-hitting lower order batsman. The third New Zealand bowler to take 300 Test wickets,he was one of the country's youngest cricketers,debuting at the age of 19 in February 2008. On his Test debut against England he took 5 wickets and made 77 off 40 balls in the second innings. He plays for Northern Districts in the Plunket Shield,Ford Trophy and Super Smash as well as Northland in the Hawke Cup. He was named as New Zealand's captain for the first T20I against West Indies in place of Kane Williamson,who was rested for that game. The Blackcaps won that match by 47 runs. Southee was a member of the New Zealand team that won the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship. Southee currently has the highest (international) test batting strike rate among the batsmen with a minimum of 2000 test runs. His (batting) career strike rate is 83.12. He was also a part of the New Zealand squads to finish as runners-up in two Cricket World Cup finals in 2015 and 2019.
Grant David Elliott is a former New Zealand cricketer,who played all formats of the game. Primarily a batting all-rounder,Elliott contributed a man of the match performance to provide entrance to New Zealand's first ever World Cup final,by beating South Africa in 2015. Domestically,he played for Wellington. He was also a part of the New Zealand squad to finish as runners-up at the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
Grenville David "Gren" Alabaster is a New Zealand former first-class cricketer who played for Otago,Canterbury and Northern Districts between 1955 and 1976. A winner of the New Zealand Cricket Almanack Player of the Year Award in 1972,Alabaster was an all-rounder:a right-arm off-break bowler and left-handed batsman. He toured with New Zealand to Australia in 1973–74,but never played in a Test match. His brother Jack Alabaster played 21 Tests;the two brothers played together for Otago and Southland for many years.
Jeet Ashok Raval is a New Zealand cricketer. Raval is an opening batsman,who has played for New Zealand internationally and Northern Districts domestically. Originally from Ahmedabad in India,Raval played cricket for New Zealand's under-19 team and then spent eight years playing first-class cricket as an opening batsman for Auckland and Central Districts before being selected to play Test cricket for New Zealand for the first time in 2016. Raval initially struggled for form and it took 17 Test matches and 7 half-centuries before he scored his maiden Test century against Bangladesh.
Anthony Warren Short is a former New Zealand cricketer who played three first class cricket matches and a single one day match for Central Districts between 1978 and 1980. A right-handed batsman,he struggled at first-class level,scoring only 96 runs from five innings –largely in a career-best knock of 33. He did,however,enjoy greater success as an all-rounder in District Cricket's Hawke Cup for Wairarapa,and as a bowler for Central District's under-23 team. He was also a very occasional right-arm medium bowler,who sent down a tidy yet wicket-less 64 balls.
Hamish Duncan Rutherford is a New Zealand former professional cricketer who played first-class cricket for Otago and represented New Zealand in international cricket. A left-handed batsman and occasional left-arm spin bowler,Rutherford is the son of former New Zealand Test captain Ken Rutherford and nephew of Ian Rutherford. He was born at Dunedin in 1989 and educated at Otago Boys' High School in the city.
