Greece has been competing at the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia from 6 July to 17 July 2013. 13 athletes were part of the Greek team, [1] winning a single bronze medal.

Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent was a Greek princess by birth and a British princess by marriage. She was a daughter of Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark and Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia, and a granddaughter of King George I and Queen Olga of Greece. Sokratis Papastathopoulos, also known mononymously as Sokratis, is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for La Liga club Real Betis.
Asteras Tripolis Football Club, commonly referred to as Asteras Tripolis, is a Greek professional football club based in the city of Tripoli in Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece. Panetolikos Football Club, or with its full name Panetolikós Yimnastikós Filekpedeftikós Síllogos, is a Greek professional football club. It was based in Agrinio, Greece.
