Grogol is a subdistrict ( kecamatan ) in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. [1] The housing estate, Solo Baru ("New Solo") is located here and this subdistrict is a satellite city of Surakarta.
The Al-Mukmin Islamic school is located here, in Ngruki, a village in this subdistrict. This pesantren is chaired by Abu Bakar Ba'asyir alleged to have been involved in the 2002 Bali bombing. [2]

Jalan Jaksa is a short street approximately 400 meters long at Menteng subdistrict in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. It is located about 1 km south of the national museum, Monas and west of the Gondangdia railway station. The street connects Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim to Jalan Kebon Sirih. The six-meter-wide road offers tourists the opportunity to get cheap accommodation, and used to be a hub for nightlife, however, for several years now the nightlife scene here has dwindled with tourists and locals gravitating towards newer areas. Manahan Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. Manahan is the first stadium in Indonesia which hosts the biggest disabled sporting event in Southeast Asia, the 2011 ASEAN Para Games. The stadium was opened on 21 February 1998. It is currently used mostly for association football matches and is used as the home venue for Persis Solo. This stadium now holds 20,000 spectators after the renovation.
