History
- The Early Years
In 1918 Fr. Banzali conceived the idea of founding a Catholic educational institution. Then, only one elementary school existed in each town. Accordingly, with the encouragement and approval of Michael O'Doherty, Archbishop of Manila and the generous cooperation and support of handful of civic-spirited residents of the town, the Guagua National Institute started to operate on June 18, 1918, with the opening of classes in the primary grades. Classes were held at the old Guagua Catholic Convent.
Before the school year 1918–1919 came to a close, the Secretary of Public Instruction, Charles E. Yeater, authorized the school to offer the complete elementary course with an average size of 35 pupils in each grade. Mrs. Feliza D. Goseco was installed as its first Elementary School Principal.
During the school year 1919–1920, the high school department was opened with 32 students enrolled in the first year. The following year, there were 16 students enrolled in the second year. In 1922, the third year class had four students and, as expected, the opening of the fourth year class was deferred for the following year because only three students actually enrolled. In 1924, the fourth year class was opened with nine students.
The Guagua National Institute was granted government recognition by the E. A. Gilmore, the Secretary of Public Education, on March 17, 1925 to offer complete secondary course.
In 1932, following the transfer of Father Banzali to a new parish in Arayat, the school moved from the premises of the Guagua Catholic church to a temporary site, a residential house in barrio San Roque. However, due to the inadequacies of the place to meet the rigid requirements for schools, the Guagua National Institute had to be transferred to a bigger site in front of the national road in San Nicolas. On February 16, 1942, the three buildings were razed to the ground by a fire that enveloped important sections of the town of Guagua. A steady increase in its enrolment, both in the elementary and in the high school department, made it imperative to build two additional buildings. Between 1942 and 1946, classes were interrupted by World War II.
During the school year 1939–1940, it gained government permission to offer first year subjects in Junior Normal and Associate in Arts. During the school year 1941–1942, the Guagua National Institute had a total enrolment of 1,500 student from elementary, secondary and first year collegiate department
On January 1, 1946, the Guagua National Institute was able to buy its present site in barrio Sta. Filomena and started putting up buildings.

It was established in 1906 as a Catholic parochial school and named Colegio de la Sagrada Familia in 1910. It is now one of the most prestigious schools in Angeles City. It has both elementary and high school departments as well as kindergarten and preparatory school classes for younger students. The school follows the Benedictine tradition of Ora et Labora, which means "Prayer and Work".

Saint Ignatius' College is an independent Catholic pre-school, primary and secondary day school for boys and girls, located in Adelaide, South Australia. Notre Dame of Marbel University also known by its acronym NDMU) is a private Catholic educational institution run by the Marist Brothers in Koronadal, South Cotabato, Philippines. It was founded in 1945 and offers pre-school, elementary, high school, college and postgraduate courses. It is the first Marist university in the Philippines since 1992, and it houses one of largest library in Southern Mindanao, known as NDMU Library. NDMU is the only university in Koronadal City and is considered to be the premier university and the prime academic institution in the province of South Cotabato. NDMU is a member of the Notre Dame Educational Association, a group of Notre Dame Schools in the Philippines under the patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also the Patroness of the University.
Don Bosco Academy also referred to by its acronym DBA or Don Bosco Pampanga" is a private Catholic Salesian technical educational institution for boys run by the Salesians of the Society of Saint John Bosco in Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines. It was founded in 1956 by the (Salesians).
La Consolacion College – Novaliches, also known by its former name La Consolacion College - Deparo or colloquially LaCo [pronounced as /lakô/], is a private Catholic basic and higher educational institution administered by the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation (ASOLC) in Caloocan, Philippines. It was founded in February 1995 and is one of the two La Consolacion schools in the city of Caloocan, and one of the 24 schools owned and administered by the Augustinian Sisters.
St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School is a Roman Catholic high school located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as part of the Toronto Catholic District School Board. It is dedicated to Saint Patrick of Ireland and St. Marguerite Bourgeoys, the founder of the Congregation of Notre Dame. One of Toronto's oldest schools, St. Patrick's used to be an elementary school founded in 1852 until 1983 and turned into a secondary school which opened in 1986 on D'Arcy Street. The motto for St. Patrick is "Amor Christi nos impellit" which translates to English as "The Love of Christ Impels Us".

Notre Dame of Kidapawan College, also referred to by its acronym NDKC, is a private, Catholic basic and higher education institution run by the Marist Brothers of the Schools or FMS (Fratres Maristae a Scholis), a Catholic religious order from France. It was founded by Bishop Gerard G. Mongeau, OMI, DD in 1948. It offers elementary, high school, undergraduate and postgraduate courses (in consortium with NDDU and independent program). It is located in Kidapawan City, Cotabato, Philippines. NDKC has been a member of the Notre Dame Educational Association, a group of schools named Notre Dame in the Philippines which is under the patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Montessori High School at University Circle was a private high school located in the University Circle neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. The school opened August 2008 as the first private high school in the United States with the Montessori name, and was the first Montessori high school to offer boarding for international and U.S. students. On May 4, 2018, MHS announced that it would cease operations and liquidate its properties at the end of the 2017-18 academic year due to financial difficulties.
