The Kakar is a Gharghashti Pashtun tribe, based in Afghanistan, parts of Iran, and northern Balochistan in Pakistan.
The National Awami Party (NAP), translated from Urdu to English as National People's Party, was the major left-wing political party in East and West Pakistan. It was founded in 1957 in Dhaka, erstwhile East Pakistan, by Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani and Yar Mohammad Khan, through the merger of various leftist and progressive political groups in Pakistan. Commonly known as the NAP, it was a major opposition party to Pakistani military regimes for much of the late 1950s and mid-1960s. In 1967 the party split into two factions.
Ataullah Mengal was a Pakistani politician and feudal figure. He was the head of the Mengal tribe until he nominated one of his grandsons, Sardar Asad Ullah Mengal, as his tribal successor. He was also the 1st Chief Minister of Balochistan during Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's premiership from 1 May 1972 to 13 February 1973. He died on 2 September 2021 in Karachi.
Jogezai is a Pashtun tribe of Pakistan. It is a subtribe of Sanzarkhail, Kakar. The majority of the Jogezai tribesmen live in Killa Saifullah and Loralai. The current Nawab of Pashtuns is from Jogezai tribe namely, Nawab Muhammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai, who is the bloodline of Baiker Nika.
The Wali Khan faction of the National Awami Party was formed after the 1967 split in the original NAP between Maulana Bhashani and Abdul Wali Khan. The Wali Khan faction was later named National Awami Party (NAP) after the independence of Bangladesh.

Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai ; born 28 January 1959) is a Pakistani politician from Northern Balochistan and is serving as the Pashtun Nawab. He became Nawab after the death of Nawab Taimoor Shah Khan Jogezai. While he was still alive, Nawab Taimoor Shah Khan Jogezai nominated Nawab Mohammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai as the next Nawab. He survived an assassination attempt at Killa Saifullah in 1988 but was seriously injured. On the request of the Chairman of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, he joined the party. He was elected as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan for NA-200 (Zhob-cum-Killa Saifullah in 1993 till 1996. He also remained a member of the Senate of Pakistan from 2003 to 2009. He contested for PB-3 constituency in the 2013 Balochistan provincial election and was successful. He was appointed Provincial Minister of Balochistan for Public Health and Engineering Department in 2013 and remained in office till 2018.
1992 was a year mixed with euphoria and tragedy for Pakistan. While Pakistan won the finals of the Cricket World Cup, thousands died in the flooding that occurred in the northern regions of Pakistan as a result of torrential rains swelling the Indus river. The Nawaz government inaugurated a few projects in the province of Punjab towards the betterment of road networks and ordered a military operation in the province of Sindh to counter the growing language riots and ethnic tension.
Gul Khan Naseer also known as Malek o-Sho'arā Balochistan ; 14 May 1914 – 6 December 1983) was a Pakistani politician, poet, historian, and journalist from Balochistan. Most of his work is in Balochi language, but he also wrote in English, Urdu, Brahui and Persian.
Mir Noor-ud-din Mengal was a senior Baloch Pakistani politician who was active in Balochistan's political scene for nearly four decades, from 1970 to 2010. He belonged to the famed Zagar Mengal tribe and was the nephew of the Baloch National Poet Mir Gul Khan Nasir. His father's name was Mir Lal Bakhsh Mengal and he had seven siblings. His mother was a prominent member of the Gichki family from Mekran.
Kila Saifullah District, Qilla Saifullah, or Saifullah Killa is a district in northwestern Balochistan province, Pakistan. It was established as a district in 1988, comprising two former administrative units of Zhob District: the Upper Zhob sub-division and the sub-tehsil of Badinai, previously named Kashatoo and part of the sub-district of Kakar Khurasan.
Killa Saifullah, or Qilla Saifullah, is a city in the Killa Saifullah District of the Balochistan province of Pakistan. A fort (qilla) built in the district by Saifullah Khan, belonging to the Mirdadzai Khoidadza sub-clan of Kakar tribe, has lent its name to the city.
Ameer Muhammad Khan Jogezai was nominated to become the Governor of Balochistan after the resignation of Muhammad Khan Achakzai. His nomination was consented to by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan only to be rescinded later on.
Nawab Mohammad Khan Jogezai was a Pashtun tribal elder and the only representative from Baluchistan Province to the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan.
