Lieutenant General Gul Nabi Ahmadzai is the governor of Paktia Province and former commander of the Kabul garrison. The Attorney General's Office of Afghanistan decided to suspend him at the garrison after an incident where protesters at a mass demonstration were fired upon in 2017. [1] He was appointed to be the governor of Paktia on 2 July 2021. [2] Most of the previous provincial leadership had been sacked. [3]
Gardez is the capital of the Paktia Province of Afghanistan. The population of the city was estimated to be ca. 10,000 in the 1979 census and was estimated to be 70,000 in 2008. The majority of the city's native population is Pashtun. The city of Gardez is located at the junction between two important roads that cut,through a huge alpine valley. Surrounded by the mountains and deserts of the Hindu Kush,which boil up from the valley floor to the north,east and west,it is the axis of commerce for a huge area of eastern Afghanistan and has been a strategic location for armies throughout the country's long history of conflict. Observation posts built by Alexander the Great are still crumbling on the hilltops just outside the city limits. The city of Gardez has a population of 70,641. It has 13 districts and a total land area of 6,174 hectares (23.84 sq mi). The total number of dwellings in this city is 7,849.
Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai is an Afghan former politician,academic,and economist who served as the president of Afghanistan from September 2014 until August 2021,when his government was overthrown by the Taliban.
Logar is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan located in the eastern section of the country. It is divided into 7 districts and contains hundreds of villages. He was a Governor of Paktia Province beginning in July 2020,and was previously governor of Khost,Logar,and Wardak. Fidai is an independent politician,and when first appointed governor of Wardak in 2008 he was the youngest of the 34 governors of Afghanistan.
Mohammad Yousef Pashtun is an Afghan technocrat and politician. He served as Minister of Urban Development and Housing for two terms and as Governor of Kandahar province in 2003,replacing Gul Agha Sherzai under President Hamid Karzai's administration. In 2010,he was appointed as Senior Adviser to President Karzai on Construction,Mines,Water &Energy. In 2014,minister Pashtun continued to serve as Senior Adviser to President Ashraf Ghani. Yِousef Pashtun is also chairing the Kabul New City Development Authority Board.

General Musa Khan Akbarzada is a politician in Afghanistan. He served as the governor of Ghazni province from 2010 to 2015. He is an ethnic Pashtun from the Ahmadzai tribe. His former careers include Consul General in Afghan consulate general in Peshawar,Pakistan,during the government of Burhanuddin Rabbani in early 1990s,after this he was appointed as Afghan Ambassador to Riyadh Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Sulaimankhel,or Suleiman Khel,are a Pashtun sub-tribe of the Ghilji tribe.They are also known Brother tribe of Tanoli tribe. They Both are Sons of same father.As They are primarily Nomadic People. In the early 20th century,the tribe was recognised as generally pastoral.
Haji Mali Khan is an Afghan Taliban politician,and former military commander. Khan has served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces since 4 March 2022. From 7 November 2021 to 14 March 2022,he served as governor of Logar Province. Prior to his governmental service,he was considered one of the leaders of the Haqqani network,a "semi-autonomous" offshoot of the Taliban.

The Islamic State–Taliban conflict is an ongoing armed conflict between the Islamic State and the Taliban in Afghanistan. The conflict escalated when militants who were affiliated with Islamic State –Khorasan Province killed Abdul Ghani,a senior Taliban commander in Logar province on 2 February 2015. Since then,the Taliban and IS-KP have engaged in clashes over the control of territory,mostly in eastern Afghanistan,but clashes have also occurred between the Taliban and IS-KP cells which are located in the north-west and south-west.

General Mohammad Yasin Zia,is an Afghan military officer and politician. He is a former Chief of General Staff,former Deputy Defense Minister,and former governor of Takhar Province,Afghanistan. Zia has also served as head of Afghanistan's counter terrorism unit (2011) and as the deputy director of the National Directorate of Security (2011–2015). In 2022,he was reported to be one of the leaders of the anti-Taliban Afghanistan Freedom Front resistance movement.
Uprising for Change is an Afghan civil disobedience movement that started with tent sit-ins in central Kabul in June 2017 in response to the 31 May 2017 Kabul bombing,the killing of protesters by Afghan security forces on 2 June,the 3 June suicide bombings at a funeral of one of the 2 June victims,and subsequent police violence. On 11 June 2017,the commander of the Kabul Garrison,Ahmadzai,and Kabul police chief Hassan Shah Frogh were suspended from duty following the protests. In March 2018,Uprising for Change called for the Afghan government to be replaced by a six-month interim government.
