Gulf Shore is a community in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The population fluctuates from winter to summer, with only a few year-round residents. The main employment is in agriculture and tourism. The Gulf Shore is the location for the Northumberland Links Golf Course. [1]

It takes its name from Amet Island, a small island just beyond the mouth of the sound in Northumberland Strait. Because of its sheltered position, its bays and harbours are considered "safe haven" for yachts in the event of major storms.
