Gunhild Maria Larking (born 13 January 1936) is a retired Swedish high jumper. She competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics, 1954 European Athletics Championships and 1956 Summer Olympics and placed ninth in 1952 and fourth in 1954 and 1956. At the 1948 Summer Olympics, she had the highest score in the entire competition on vault in both the compulsory and optional segments of the competition. She continued to be impressive on this apparatus for years to come as evidenced by the fact that she took seventh place on the vault in 1952.

The men's ISSF 50 meter pistol was a shooting sports event held as part of the Shooting at the 1956 Summer Olympics programme. It was the ninth appearance of the event. The competition was held on 30 November 1956 at the shooting ranges in Melbourne. 33 shooters from 22 nations competed. Nations had been limited to two shooters each since the 1952 Games. The winner was Pentti Linnosvuo of Finland, the nation's first medal in the free pistol. The Soviet Union also won its first medal in the event, with Makhmud Umarov's silver. American Offutt Pinion took bronze.

Ingvar Axel Harald Ericsson was a Swedish middle-distance runner who specialized in the 1500 m event. He competed at the 1952 and 1956 Summer Olympics and finished eighth in 1952. At the European championships he was seventh in 1950 and fourth in 1954. Ericsson won the national 1500 m title in 1952, 1954 and 1955 and set a new national record in 1956.
