Biography

She competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics, 1954 European Athletics Championships and 1956 Summer Olympics and placed ninth in 1952 and fourth in 1954 and 1956. [1] She won five consecutive national titles from 1952 to 1956. [3] [4]

While she was at the 1956 Summer Olympic Games, she was the subject of a series of shot taken by George Silk for Life magazine. One of these, published on the Christmas number of Life shorter after, received international fame and Larking herself began receiving requests as a model. [5] [6]

On her seventh attempt, she won Melodifestivalen in 2014 with the song "Undo" and so represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark, finishing in 3rd place overall. Sanna was one of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 commentators for Sweden and hosted Melodifestivalen 2015 along with comedian Robin Paulsson. She was announced as the new presenter for the sing-along show Allsång på Skansen for the summer of 2016. She hosted Eurovision The Party at the Tele2 Arena for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

Karin Elisabet Lindberg was a Swedish gymnast. She competed at the 1948, 1952 and 1956 Summer Olympics and won a gold and a silver medal in team exercise with portable apparatus, in 1952 and 1956, respectively. Her teams finished fourth all-around in 1948 and 1952. At the 1948 Summer Olympics, she had the highest score in the entire competition on vault in both the compulsory and optional segments of the competition. She continued to be impressive on this apparatus for years to come as evidenced by the fact that she took seventh place on the vault in 1952.

Fred Håkan Ingvar Lindman is a Swedish former footballer who played as a forward. Starting off his career with GAIS, he went on to represent Karlstad BK, Malmö FF, and RSC Anderlecht during a career that spanned between 1979 and 1990. He represented the Sweden Olympic team at the 1988 Summer Olympics. During the 1989–90 European Cup, Lindman scored the winning goal which saw Malmö FF eliminate Inter Milan from the competition. In 1990, he retired following picking up a serious knee injury.

Elisabet Höglund is a Swedish author and political journalist, working in Swedish television and radio as a reporter. She started her career at SVT, later becoming a freelance journalist. She has written a number of books including an autobiography, and has organised many exhibitions of her own paintings; she is also a former road bicycle racer. She competed in Let's Dance during 2009 on TV4, teaming up with professional dancer Tobias Karlsson. Höglund and Karlsson placed fourth in the competition.

Karl Ossian Militz Suneson is a retired Swedish sailor, who specialized in the Laser class. Astrid Bodin was a Swedish actress who appeared in over 120 films. Born on 10 July 1903 in Österunda, Sweden, she began her film-acting career with a small role in 1933's Djurgårdsnätter, starring Erik Berglund and Anne-Marie Brunius. She appeared mostly in smaller roles, many times un-credited. Her final performance was as an unnamed woman in Börje Nyberg's Svenska Floyd (1961), which was released on her 58th birthday, 10 July 1961.
