Teneil Laetitia Throssell, known professionally as HAAi, is an Australian electronic producer and DJ from Karratha, Western Australia. [2] [3]
Throssell began her musical career in a series of rock bands, eventually moving to the UK as part of duo Dark Bells. [4] She began DJing only after the band split up, going on to hold a residency at club Phonox in London from late 2016 for two years. [5] [6] HAAi gained wider prominence after winning the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of the Year 2018. [7] [8]
She released her debut EP in November 2019 with Systems Up, Windows Down. [9] This was followed-up by her debut album, Baby, We're Ascending , in May 2022. [10] She has collaborated with various other electronic artists, including Fred Again and Jon Hopkins. [11]

Shygirl's music incorporates elements of dance music, industrial hip-hop, experimental pop, grime and deconstructed club. She has also been associated with the hyperpop music scene. Shygirl rose to prominence after working with close collaborator and friend Sega Bodega, as well as other well-known experimental producers Arca and Sophie, and gaining attention from the likes of Rihanna, who has used various Nuxxe tracks for her Fenty Beauty commercials and fashion shows. Shygirl has released various singles since 2016, and two EPs titled Cruel Practice and Alias. Her debut studio album Nymph was released on 30 September 2022 to widespread acclaim from music critics.
Yu Su is an electronic dance music producer and DJ. She was born in Kaifeng, China, and moved to Vancouver, Canada, in 2013. She started to produce music the following year and after a tour of mainland China in 2019 from Qingdao to Xining, she set up the record label bié in order to release the music of the artists she had met. In 2020, she self-released her debut album Yellow River Blue. The Quietus review called it "warm and inviting", whilst Pitchfork described the songs as a mixture of "ambient dub, synth pop, and left-field house".
