Hadsund is a town in the eastern part of Jutland with a population of 4,965. The town is located by the narrow strait of Hadsund, along an inlet of the Mariager Fjord. It is situated south of the city of Aalborg and north of the city of Randers. The town is a part of Mariagerfjord Municipality in the North Denmark Region. Until 2007, Hadsund was the administrative seat of Hadsund Municipality.

Hadsund South Station was a railway station in Hadsund, Denmark, until 1 April 1969, when the Aalborg–Hadsund Railway and Randers–Hadsund Railway were closed. As of 2014 the station buildings still exist and are in private hands. The buildings are located on the south side of Mariager Fjord.
Hadsund North Station was a railway station in Hadsund, Denmark. Opened in 1900 and located near Hadsund Harbour, it served the city until 1 April 1969, when the Aalborg–Hadsund Railway and the Randers–Hadsund Railway closed. The station was demolished in 1985 to make way for a new bus station.
Hadsund South, originally Sønder Hadsund, is a district in the city of Hadsund, adjoined to the rest of the city by the Hadsund Bridge. It lies 252 meters south of the city proper. Due to the separation from the rest of Hadsund, it is classified as an "independent urban area" by Statistics Denmark. As of 1 January 2024, the area has a population of 429. The area was first recognized in 1436. Today, Hadsund South Station and the Ferry Inn Hotel (Færgekroen) are located in Hadsund South.
The Old Maskinsnedkeri is a historic industrial building in Hadsund, Denmark. Maskinsnedkeri was built in 1920. The building is built of yellow brick and is the first sign of industry in Hadsund. It was one of the first companies in the city to have electric-powered machines, which ran on direct current.
